I thought this hurt would kill me I feared my heart could never be the same The loss I felt engulfed me Swallowing me into a world of pain I tried to starve these feelings Forgetting the power that shines from the new day But the rise of the morning has freed me And made one in love, and whole again..

Forever Undecided

Options, options, options

The overwhelm of too many outcomes.

Confusing the gift of free will,

while masking the threat of being locked in.

For with this I get extra powerful strength,

but with this I get to fly,

With this I see the future world and

a means to make it right.

Then again I could chose to always be the best,

Or even morph into light,

Or maybe chose to live my life

underwater or high in the sky.

The stress of the choice can boggle the mind

or at least when it comes to my time,

to choose a path that I want to take,

with the heavy fear of no rewind.

The Goddess of Temper

Last night I finally saw her, statured peaceful inside my dreams. A goddess from the land of Temper, smiling gently down at me. Her grace alike the Sequoia, sacred mother to all that is green. She said “I’m glad you found me I always hoped one day we’d meet. I’ve wanted only to tell you, and thank you greatly for your dreams. For you are the life inside me without you there is no being.” She stood as one in nature with radiant beauty unlike her words then returned her tree-like posture letting go her spoken verse. For as she praised so sweetly giving thanks for life to me, I saw at once her meaning within the leaves that formed her tree. For her eminence is her glory in the lands that glowed her green. But the gift of thanks she told me was for the dream that formed her being.

Joyful Happiness

When joy overwhelms it spills out of the mind, flowing to the heart it mends a soul of broken parts. Dressing each wound it caresses the dark thoughts grating thin the solemn heart.

But you feel it as it heals. The ecstasy of joy, is testified through your speech when you laugh out the words of every happy bandage you feel. “Ha ha ha ha ha Hallelujah I am healed!” The joy in your soul becomes the beacon for your being.

You share this with the world through the smiling of your teeth. Spreading the power of your joys with the stranger on the street, who will feel the peace inside welcoming the power of the heal. For your overwhelm inside wants only and always to be free. A beacon of joyful light out of you and unto me.

The Lonely Drifter

“The loneliness engulfs her like the thickness of a winter fog, covering the morning rays of a sun in reluctant slumber. The familiarity of a comforted home, lost in the depths of her thoughts as she pains for a return to the warm bosom of a loving heart. The balloon of memories filled with aching desires expanding each airy want. Finding muse in a luring pretense of her opium veil, beautiful and pristine yet crippling with the lethality of her deadly poison. Where can she find deliverance for her smoggy despair? How can she shed the blinding façade tormenting with dreams of amorous longing? When will she come back, to me, Into my heart, back to my soul To help me destroy the iron curtain barring the path for the crusade home?”

"Waiting for the change that will destroy the wall that bars" Or "Thinking of the way to destroy the wall the bars the change" How would you caption? Change is not real, it cannot walk, move, nor talk. It is a concept that we all create and all have the power to control. Change itself will never change us, we have to start that change ourselves. Whether it is to drop old vices, eliminate bad habits, or learn that new skill we keep putting off. Change will come as easily as it won't. Wanting hard is not enough. Change requires simple action accompanied by the drive to see ourselves through! Change is here in this very second, minute, day and year! So as we sit and think of a change that doesn't feel near, I encourage you to ask yourself one thing- Are you ready to break down that wall, or will you sit and stare awaiting for a change that will never be there?
