“Afri-“ is first in the four part photo & film collection series, BLACK EXCELLENCE titled after the Latin name “Afri” (pl.)/ “Afer” (s.)” to describe inhabitants south of the Mediterranean. With an infusion of various African cultures, this collection is an ode to the Motherland and its diaspora of children symbolizing our ancestors prior to the “Age of Discovery” before being touched by the catastrophic phenomenon known as the Atlantic Slave Trade therefore introducing a global ideology rooted in primitive greed. This majestic piece exudes Black love, life, togetherness and the overall essence of Black beauty.

                🌹 Alex in Wonderland ~ Storybook Series 🌹                                               Ch. 1 ♧ Down the Rabbit Hole

      After searching around, Alex discovers a wooden door in the middle of a large tree. As he opens the door he suddenly finds himself in a majestic garden.  Lost and bewildered Alex then ventures to a strange little table hidden the shrubs.  A tea cup marked “DRINK ME” sits on the table.  After inspecting the tea to make sure it’s not poison Alex begins to drink. . .To Be Continued!

Story-line:  

A women all alone in her luxurious home discovers a pearl earring in her bedroom that does not belong to her. With the earring clenched in her hand, she begins to realize that her husband has once again cheated on her. With her husband away at work she is left to deal with her whirlwind of emotions alone and in the silence of her home.

Tagline: "Pearls aren't every girls best friend"
