i guess them makign the xmen babies makes sense in a way because they have to try and fit them in to established lore and them being a relatively new team (i assume) (and likely marketed towards teenagers more) makes sense for the mcu but i just think it sucks and limits the comic stories they can really tell.
While I wanted older X-men because I wanted them as equals to the Avengers and the Fantastic Four (and avoid the paternalism their characters are going to get), I think they are going to keep the dark histories because the young adult ones , more light, more teen, are going to be with the Young Avengers/ Champions
