Everyone was mad and looking for her, they didn't get the story or else they would have murdered their queen too, hell the way the dad acted they probably would have thrown him in there as well but that wasn't his focus right now.

The focus was Daria, the poor girl was practically shaking as they hurried through the dark night and he was guiding her as best he could, they had no light but he could see still demon eyes were wonderful that way. He just had to get her to Hades right? Hades always knew what to do and despite everything he was good with dealing with kids and crossing boarders would somewhat keep her safe right?

Julius lead Daria around a root so she wouldn't trip before he could see light through the trees, not far up ahead a few small candles still flickered in the windows and he smiled as they got closer and Julius knocked loudly in the doors and looked at Daria she was still frightened and probably in shock it had been far to long of an adventure of them running and he actually felt bad for the kid. First murder,her entire country out to kill her for it....yeah it was a mess for a teenager to have to deal with.when the door opened Julius smiled

"forgive me for the interruption I know it's late but my companion and I request lodgings for the night and uh...." Julius figured out how to out this,Hades was the boogeyman he couldn't pull that card yet

Ezra frowned and raised a brow, “as in the Princess of the neighboring Kingdom?” He stood back crossing his arms. He looked over the shoulder and softened, “alright come in.” He couldn’t help it, she looked so frightened.

Julius smiled obviously news of their misdeeds had not reached then yet but he nodded

"I apologise for the late hour and lack of notice, I'm afraid our messenger might have had a problem with his horse."

It wasn't a lie, Julius had most definitely shot the man off his horse and the at could be seen as quite the problem.

Daria looked around the u familiar home she wondered if Vlad even remembered her, she wondered how long she would be able to hide here even she didn't want to have to kill anyone that Vlad considered a friend after all though she wouldn't be opposed to a murder if she had to after all she's gotten blood on her hands this far.

“Hmm,” Ezra nodded it was late and the older vampire wasn’t usually awake even at the hour. However sleep was evasive this night so he had been prowling the castle making sure all was in its place wards had been put up by the local witches to keep Lucifer out so that his son might finally have some peace.

“Lord Ezra what is going on?” The young voice of the Prince came from atop the stairs.

“The Princess Daria has arrived,” Lord Ezra said making a bow.

“Why weren’t we notified?”

“It seems there was a mishap with their unfortunate messenger.”

This apeased the Prince who was in is night clothes and a rich silk robe. Vlad’s eyes looked upon the Princess and he was once more in the garden of the early summer that year. “How wonderful to see you again Princess.” He made the customary bow. “I am glad to see your travels have brought you here and that you are alive and well.” He looked to two female servants who were already making their way to Daria. “I bid you most welcome in my home enter with peace and trust.” There was no denying that there was a giddiness to his smile. His tutors had lamented that since the ball the Princes’ mind had drifted away to the subject of his affections.

Ezra sat at the table arms crossed, “something has to be done about Drac.

“Agreed,” Kit said crossing his arms impatiently. “He can’t be allowed to continue doing what he has done.”

“Let us not forget that he isn’t in control of himself.” Ezra added.

“Control or not that bastard has made Honey cry and that I will not stand for!” Kit said with venom.

Dracula studied the house having seen Hades and Kit leave earlier. “Now then this should be interesting...” he made his way through the shadows. Peering into the windows he saw the little girl. Hades had a daughter? He had an almost little sister? Hades had replaced him!

Hades wrapped his arms around kit and placed a kiss to his head

"calm down my love, we'll work everything out" he assured him aziraphale nodded

"so who is watching over him now?" Aziraphale asked looking over to Fabian

"I left Cerberus with him and reintroduced him to television so I think he'll be ok I told him I'd bring dinner home" Fabian admitted looking a little sick at the thought

Felicity wasn't happy with the sitter that had been hired to watch her, she didn't do anything right! She didn't let rex sit at the table, she wouldn't braid her hair like papa kit, she didn't read the stories like papa Hades did, she wouldn't even make hot cocoa like azira did!

Felicity was going to have words with her fathers about this, no more babysitters from this service that was for sure

“Hopefully that will hold his attention, if not Cerberus should keep him down.” Ezra nodded. “Now then what do we think caused this and how do we undo it?”

Vlad hung upside down in bay form watching the sitter an enormous piece of fruit from a bowl that had been left outside at a nearby party being gobbled up by the winged rodent. Drac loved fruit.

Felicity sighed deciding she wasn't getting to sleep, her bedtime routine was in shambles anyway so she got up deciding she was going to try and sneak a glass of water since her babysitter "Stephanie" had determined that she didn't need it, seriously words were being had with her parents.

Feli kicked the covers off and grabbed rex heading down to the kitchen where she could already hear the TV far to loud in volume, she'd be fine.

"I don't know, he doesn't remember anything. Could he have been hit in the head by something?" Fabian asked looking around at everyone Layla shrugged

"I mean it's possible? Last I knew he was going to the castle to let my parents out. Don't think I don't have words about that"

Drac has finished his mango slice and now was ready to do a bit of fun she had left her bedroom so he flew in and hid in her closet.

“Nikki was in on it too!” Ezra said. “It was an effort on more than one part.” He held up his hand.

“We should really focus back on Dracula,” Will said from where he sat. “Before we get too derailed.”

“Perhaps something magical is to blame or even scientific?” Jane suggested.

Felicity got her water no problem, Stephanie didn't even notice which made the little honestly wonder what her credentials were for babysitting before she went up to her room again and put rex down

"don't worry I'll fix the blankets do they're comfy like papa kit makes them" Felicity told him she out rex in his spot by the pillows and began rearranging the blankets

"well his schedule yesterday didn't seem to have anything messed with, if he missed a meeting they would have called me" Fabian said frowning

Dracula spied her and hopped down softly unable to he heard by human ears even a child, he moved to sneak up on her. All was fair her Father was the Boogeyman! What was one startle going to do to her?

“Well he let your parents out so between then and when we saw he something went wrong.” Ezra said. “We needs to figure out what but I fear that will take more time than this meeting allows. But we have a start as to where we can look. We also need to figure out how to keep him from going supervillain.”

Felicity had finished making the bed and grabbed a coloring book off the floor when she saw the dark shadow looming over her and felt her gut churn in fear before she rolled up the coloring book and turned around swinging and hitting whoever was behind her

"non!! C'est pan gentil!!" Feli said glaring as she brandishes her coloring book ready to strike again

Carina nodded a little bit

"he had an appointment with emelyne, he was asking for her help with a blood substitute and had a meeting with their inventor about something" fabian said going back in his planner to remember

"maybe we can ask them? See if they can help us?"

“Aaack!” Vlad fell out of his shadow form rubbing his cheek.

Felicity saw Vlad and pouted

"uncle Vlad! That was mean! She scolded gently folding her arms and pouting a bit but she saw the way he was rubbing his cheek and immediately felt guilty as she set it aside and walked over with her big puppy eyes

Hades saw his husband and leaned over kissing his cheek

"she'll be fine my love," Hades assured him it wasn't often one of them left Felicity and while the sitter wasn't his first choice he was sure they were both just being mother hens

"we should alert the knights and the van Hellsings as well, don't want anyone taking out Vlad because he's messing up, fabian if you're worried about dinner stop by the blood bank will has some connections" Hades assured him fabian nodded a little though he still didn't seem certain

“Yes,” did she call him Uncle? Oh dear another who he supposed had happy memories with what he could not remember.... “I will be fine, what’a with the babysitter? Where did they find her? No matter I’ll dismiss her.” He went out the window and down to the front door. This would be easy.

“Or just come to our place I have plenty to give to Vlad I even have his favorite type. In the mean time I will work with Masters in keeping Vlad and the knights from dismantling each other.” Will said.

Kit nodded he still worried, she didn’t seem as nice as they could have gotten. He did have impossible standards.

Felicity smiled glad that Stephan would be shown out as she headed down to see what happened Stephanie heard the door and sighed getting up and heading over

"I can talk to Casper I'd that helps, you live next door to the van Hellsings and I think the less trouble the twins cause at an almost military base might be for the better" Layla suggested though she loved the kids because they were absolutely adorable she did worry about what trouble they could cause at the base

Dracula stood at the door opening, and smiled, “hi,” he raised a hand as his eyes glowed, “your services are no longer needed Uncle Vlad is here to see after Felicity and Emperor Rex.” He smiled as he thralled the woman, a vampire ability rarely used.

“That does sound better, no need to have the twins interfering with Shiro’s inventions or worse letting loose any of the more dangerous supernatural beings.” Will shook his head. “Someone should also let the Werewolves know... Aziraphale and Crowley? You speak with Merric often. I don’t know the man.” Will held up his hands.

“Wait really? I thought you knew everyone?” Crowley raised a brow.

"will Shakespeare doesn't know someone? My belief system is shattered" carina said jokingly while dramatically pretending to faint and landing in Nikki's lap and smiled

"hello beautiful is this seat taken"

"behave this is serious" Nikki assured her with a sweet smile as she out her notebook over carinas face and the djinn giggled

"Anja and merric are lovely people, we should all do a couples brunch sometime" aziraphale said excitedly at the idea

Stephanie was caught in the trance,she grabbed her things and left without another word and Felicity smiled and went.to the living room, her favorite blanket drapes around her shoulders like a cape and rex fucked under her arm

"merci" she said smiling as she crawled up onto the couch

“Why yes, I don’t know everyone,” Will said shaking his head. “I don’t know most of the people who call SeaCoast City home.”

“When all of this is over Angel.” Crowley patted his knee.

“De rein.” He replied in French, it is nothing. Dracula moved to where she was sitting beside her. “I can’t believe they hired such a careless woman to look after you.”

“Everyone else was busy,” Felicity explained to him shrugging a little bit “I do not like the service they used to hire her, she did not even read my bedtime story right, she didn’t do voices or anything” Felicity told him pouting a little bit as she hugged rex tight

“She messed up all of my covers and made rex eat dinner in my bedroom, the emperor has a throne that he sits on while we eat dinner.” Felicity said with a huff it was actually a doll high chair that Aziraphale had painted gold and helped her glue toy gems to to make it look regal but none the less the emperor sat in hsi throne typically in the living room to stand guard while the family ate.

Aziraphale nodded remembering the point of the meeting was not date nights and got back to business 

“What should crowley and I do?” Aziraphale asked

“If you wouldn’t mind, i actually wanted to ask if you two wouldn’t mind laying low around vlad for a while” Hades said to him honestly “I wanted to keep some place safe for Felicity and the twins, you know in case things....get worse.” Hades explained to them 

“I don’t believe vlad would ever actually hurt them but I’d rather not risk it, depending on what happens from here things could get better or get much worse.”

Dracula gave her a look of shock, “really now who does she think she is to be qualified for babysitting? She can’t even do voices!” Vlad shook his head. “Well we shall have to remedy that.” He smiled even in Vlad’s darkest moments he had a soft spot for children.

“Vlad is many things a child harming fiend isn’t one of them.” Ezra said in Drac’s defense. “He has had his darker days it is true but he wasn’t the type to hurt children. However you are right we don’t know how he is mentally.”

"you and I both know that Ezra but when he started the apocalypse he wasn't thinking of who he would hurt all he knew was that he hurt" Hades pointed out to him

"you know I would defend Vlad to the end of the earth and then I'd throw whoever was speaking so Ill of him off of it but I need to ensure if something goes wrong the rest of my family is safe" Hades told Ezra seriously he didn't want to have to pick between his children but he just had to be sure that whatever was plaguing Vlad wasn't going to potentially destroy the world and if it did Felicity would be safe until Hades could try to talk him down. That went for the Shakespeare's as well

Aziraphale nodded

"our home is always open," aziraphale assured him Hades nodded

Ezra nodded, “I understand, I just wanted to be sure you knew he wasn’t the type to just obliterate without reason let alone harm a child. He knew what it was to be a scared child I don’t believe he would wish it upon anyone.”

Dracula sat staring at the t-Rex, “so what does Emperor Rex decree?”

Hades glared at Ezra he knew that passive aggressive tone

"Ezra if you have something to say to me, say. It. Don't you dare forget that you're not the only one who has cares for Vlad since his childhood." Hades bit out

"in the meantime I will continue to worry about both him, my daughter and what he may or may not be in control of. If he doesn't remember himself and almost anyone else he might have something else influencing him that will not follow his moral compass so rather than act like some soccer mom let's get back to how to protect Vlad and everyone else."

Felicity looked over at the stuffed dinosaur and listened

"he decrees a proper bedtime story, slumber party on the couch and maybe Disney movie?" Felicity asked him hopeful it wasn't like she wanted to misbehave with junk food and party she just wanted a proper babysitting experience

Ezra looked at him, “I am aware but I have been there for all of them not just this one.” He said. “I think I should know Vlad better. That being said I agree we should focus on the matter at hand.”

Oh geez….Carina took a deep breath for a moment before she looked at him

“Okay….vlad I think you should come with me to the council hall,” Carina said to him as she went into her bag and grabbed her phone “or at least wait here for Ezra to take us if you’d prefer a familiar face?”

Ezra had known him since he was a tot so he’d trust Ezra more so than her if he didn’t remember and honestly carina was NOT breaking the news to honey that something had happneed to her fiance and she also didn’t want to risk him flipping out if she just snapped them to the council hall

“And why should I do that?” Dracula asked her leaning in dangerously close to her. “Why should a spider listen to a fly?” With that in a whirlwind of bats he was gone back to the palace where he went to the old Council meeting chamber only to see that it was darkened and covered in dust and cobwebs. When was the last time they had held a meeting? He summoned his otherworldly servants and ordered the room made ready. Turning to a specter, “go and send a message to all the council they are to meet here at once, there is much to be done and I will not take no for an answer!”

Carina only rolled her eyes, she wasn’t frightened of vlad really. the idea that he had reverted back to dracula was an adjustment and concerning but it didn’t mean for her to worry much. she called Ezra on her phone and instead of going to the tailor headed back to where Adhira would be

“Hey so we have a problem, vlad is now dracula again he had no idea who i was, didn’t know i was dating nikki and had no idea who honey was and was dressed like he belonged in a black and white horror flick”

Ezra who had been going over some paperwork looked up, “oh no not again. No, no, I thought we were done with the pomp and darkness.” They had worked so hard, hell Vlad had worked so hard! This wasn’t right and it wasn’t fair! He was about to say more when the spectral servant appeared.

“You are summoned to the meeting of the Council in Castle Dracula.” It said before disappearing.

“Do we go dressed as days of yore or not?” Ezra asked. “Also do we tell Honey or let her find out? Neither is a tempting option.”

“I think he needs to catch up on the times, so not days of yore because most everyone else won’t and i’ve already told him he didn’t know his fiance. I’m not telling honey but someone should that she won’t murder and when i get off the phone with you i’m calling Arthur to make sure that Nikki and Layla are protected, nikki will be fine because she looks like his mother and i know he won’t hurt his descendants but I don’t want to risk him changing his mind through whatever might be influencing him.” Carina said who knew what was going on but whatever it was Carina knew it definitely wasn’t him. 

“I’m suspecting we have some damage control to deal with as well, his eyes were so red which means he’s been feeding and had a lot, which explains all the sirens and police lights i’m seeing so someone needs to call the knights and the van hellsings as well to do damage control”

Ezra sighed, “I’ll call her, she has to hear it from someone, and since no one else is able to volunteer I will.” He wasn’t looking forward to this. “Fabian can you call the knights and the Van Hellsings I imagine we have a long road ahead of us.” He pulled out his phone and called Honey. “Honey it is Ezra, I think you need to know that Vlad isn’t himself, we don’t know what happened but he thinks of himself as Dracula, like how he was when you first met him if not worse.” He grimaced and waited for the death threats or whatever else she might throw at him.

Honey was quiet, he really had ripped that bandaid right away didn’t he? so much for getting ready for date night.

“Ezra,” she said her voice a tone of such sweetness she saved only for when she was frighteningly upset “You should tell me you’re joking now because if you’re not I hope you do know that all hell is about to break loose on this city whether it be him or me that does it.”

fabian didn’t respond already on the phone and waiting for Ava to answer so he could get damage control worked out

“I may be Loki the trickster in a past time but lying is never as much fun as the truth and this is not a truth that I find fun. You know as well as I that I wouldn’t make this shit up. He sent a spectral servant to summon me to the Castle he didn’t recognize Carina, he doesn’t know who his descendants are and I think we both know what that means.” He wasn’t the most delicate speaker which made him perhaps the best at getting to the point. “Honey he isn’t our Vlad any more, something has happened.”

When was the last time they had held a meeting? He summoned his otherworldly servants and ordered the room made ready. Turning to a specter, “go and send a message to all the council they are to meet here at once, there is much to be done and I will not take no for an answer!”

Carina only rolled her eyes, she wasn’t frightened of vlad really. the idea that he had reverted back to dracula was an adjustment and concerning but it didn’t mean for her to worry much. she called Ezra on her phone and instead of going to the tailor headed back to where Adhira would be

“Hey so we have a problem, vlad is now dracula again he had no idea who i was, didn’t know i was dating nikki and had no idea who honey was and was dressed like he belonged in a black and white horror flick”

Ezra who had been going over some paperwork looked up, “oh no not again. No, no, I thought we were done with the pomp and darkness.” They had worked so hard, hell Vlad had worked so hard! This wasn’t right and it wasn’t fair! He was about to say more when the spectral servant appeared.

“You are summoned to the meeting of the Council in Castle Dracula.” It said before disappearing.

“Do we go dressed as days of yore or not?” Ezra asked. “Also do we tell Honey or let her find out? Neither is a tempting option.”

MOTHER NATURES NOT A NECROMANCER (MULTI)

Layla has been hearing the news talk about a super blood moon coming up, it was rare and beautiful but to her it was pretty boring. Full moons meant lots of crazy though so that meant good tips at the club and probably a lot of jobs in between for the next couple of days.

That morning things went as usual for a still mostly insomniac detective (she slept better since Vlad had been brought back but her body was still so used to running on such little sleep) everything had been fine other than a tingle in her hands but she chalked that up to bean probably having slept awkwardly on her at one point before he had abandoned her for Arthur.

She made her way to the kitchen and started making here coffee at first she didn't notice the leaves sprouting from the apples that she had to move to get the cream or that some of the coffee grounds has begun to form into beans again. No it was much to early for that type of observation. It was mostly starting to notice when she went to the backyard to sit on the stairs, she noted that the grass was talked despite having it been cut just a day or two before she didn't notice the porch suddenly growing bark where her feet had touched no what she did notice was when she touched the rail and suddenly two branches about the size of her each suddenly sprouted and blocked her path knocking her over as she screamed

What the actual hell was happening?!

Nikki scooped up Bean who purred loudly in her arms

"you have a cat? Those beasts are disgusting" theodora scowled and moved away to stand closer to her husband as if Bean would turn any moment into a ferocious beast to swallow them, one could dream.

Layla came out of her room in jeans and a long sleeve

"mom chill bean would never hurt a fly" Layla said scratching the little beans ears and listening to him purr louder

“He is the baby of the household,” Vlad said, “he holds much sway here.” He exchanged looks with Layla and others there keeping tabs.

“Oh what a magnificent sword,” Viktor walked over to the sword reaching out and letting his hand go across the blade.

Vlad was going to warn him but thought better of it and was pleased when the man yelped pulling his hand away as blood came forth from the slice on his hand. “You ought not to touch things that don’t belong to you.”

“I can’t believe it is so sharp.”

Vlad muttered the word peasant under his breath before going to him. “That is the family sword.”

“And are we not family?”

“No.” Vlad said. “Not in that way.” Vlad looked over the Vlad making sure it was fine before looking to Viktor. “Don’t get blood on the carpet you were the fool who messed with the blade not I.” He tossed a cloth at him. “They day the sword knows who wields it and touches it and that if they don’t have the family blood then they are not worthy. Clearly you have much to improve upon as Layla and Nikki both have never had a problem with it before.” He raised a brow, “forgive me I am still of the old ways the ways of our family before leaving for the new world as it were.”

Theodora smiled a little bit nervously

"dear you should be more careful, I mean you are only a relative by marriage" theodora told him patting her husband's shoulder a bit before she looked at the girls

"make sure you wash your hands after you touch that animal" she said the door rang and Carina walked in with a bottle of wine in each hand and honey in tow with Cerberus, Cody and a covered tray

"hey are we late for movie night?" Honey asked smiling Cody growled softly the moment he layes eyes on the parents emphasizing bad vibes everywhere

Carina out the bottles on the counter and looked at godwin

"bottle opener?"

"don't you think it's early for wine?" Theodora said with a judgy look Carina forced a smile and popped the cork without ir

"five o'clock somewhere"

“It is never too early for wine,” Drac said before handing the bottle opener over as he was already in the drawer with Godwin to find the meat tenderizer. “This is my Queen and fiancé Honey, and magnificent Friend Carina.”

Ezra came in joining the chaos. “And I am Ezra local radio show dj and old friend.”

Cerberus walked up to Theodora and let out a low sound that told anyone he didn’t like her he did the same for Viktor and avoided pets from either of them sitting beside Vlad.

“How was pampering? Did he do well at the spa? This is my medical dog, Cerberus, he helps me with my PTSD.” Vlad introduced Cerberus.

"oh did you meet Layla at the facility then?" Viktor asked having no tact after the sword thing theodora had the sense to hit him lightly in the shoulder and tell him he was rude as Nikki glared

"no they met here in the city, Vlad reached out and contacted Layla after finding out about family"

It wasn't a total lie after all

Layla out her face in one of her hands

"Layla sweetie if you keep touching your face like that you're going to break out again, remember middle school?" Theodora asked her and Layla practically cringed and just moved closer to Arthur.

Nikki decided to bite the bullet and take the attention off Layla but she did have sense not to drop a bomb right away. She out bean down and took ezra hand pulling him away to talk to him

"so... Would you be mad if I told you I hadn't told my parents about us and Carina?" Nikki asked him "I mean I'd like to, they should know but I don't want you to get hit with that drama bomb"

Things were settling again and theodora looked at honey who now had a glass of wine in her hand happily

"so is honey....I'm sorry is that your real name?" Theodora asked her looking like she pitied her and the glass made a sound like it was about to crack as honey smiled

"I'm sorry isn't theodora a witches name?" Horny asked theodora gave a fake laugh obviously annoyed

"well let's hope a house won't fall in me" she joked honey gave a smile as if she were dreaming about that, she might have to talk to crowley that was his level of chaos

Ezra looked at her, “if it takes the focus off of poor Layla, what more can they do that they won’t? My love for you won’t lessen nor will Carina’s.”

Vlad glared daggers at Viktor and Theodora that he would even joke about the hell they abandoned their daughter to. “Honey is famous for her good works she does across the city even the world the bee population is rising thanks to her efforts and the fashion industry wouldn’t be at so wonderful a level without her.” Drac said keeping the subject off of Layla.

Nikki smiled though it obviously didn't match how she was feeling

"please remember saying that, you've never had to deal with these people and at this point they're just getting started" Nikki admitted to him before she kissed his cheek she hated putting her relationship under the microscope but at this point what as there to lose. Nikki went to Carina and whispered the situation in her ear Carina looked like she debated drinking the rest of the wine on the counter but she nodded

"ok but please let me drop a house on them, even a doll house your mother basically asked for it" Carina asked her Nikki giggled and kissed her cheek

Theodora raised a brow

"oh really? Is that why you called yourself honey? Goes with your cause? Even if there are better causes to donate time to,Viktor and I do charities unfortunate kids we tried to get Nikki to start our program here in seacoast so we could visit more"

If Layla could go any more pale she would have but she was already looking like a sheet

“The preservation of humanity and food sources is always something worth spending time and money on.” Anyone who knew Vlad was a vampire knew what he had meant. “After all the bees are our friends, I even keep a few hives and a garden for them. Making mead and selling the wax as various items. It is good honest work same I’m sure can be said for Honey I’d ask you keep yourselves civil when speaking to her she is my Fiancé and thereby a member of the family.” Vlad said rather coldly. “Besides what charities have you involved yourselves in? Surely there must be some good you do for the world?”

"we just a charity to help unfortunate children" Viktor told him "after everything that happened with Layla we thought of families that aren't as well off as us so we started a charity for them"

Nikki rolled her eyes

"no you funded it and stop in every few weeks for photos for your friends there's a difference" Nikki pointed out to them pouring herself a glass of wine

"so Ezra how do you know the girls?" Theodora asked side eyeing Nikki she'd obviously noticed Nikki pulling him aside

"he's my boyfriend" Carina said smiling as she leaves on the counter as if her favorite show had come on

"and you know then because....."

"because I'm Carina's girlfriend" Nikki said taking a long drink Carina grinned DARING them to say a negative word

“And I haven’t seen these three more happier than when they are together.” Vlad called from the kitchen. He was going to still cook well after all his girlfriend was in there. “Honey can you assist me with cutting these you are a masterwork with a knife.” It was what he needed to get Honey away before she murdered them.

Ezra kissed both girls. “And I love and care for them and they for me. There is something both modern and ancient about love that spans over three souls.”

The parents got very quiet and honey snickered a bit into her glass

"that's so sweet they're so happy they're finally speechless" honey said with a hint of venom as she poured herself another glass and Carina laughed

Nikki could tell by the look her mother shot her this was a conversation for later that would be a lot of 'nikita streigrid have you lost your mind?!' but that didn't matter to her she'd be sure to have at least one of her loved ones close by for backup

Ezra smiled and held both of them close in a way that suggested that he was very comfortable with both of them near him and daring the parents to say one more God-damned-word.

Vlad pulled Honey in for a kiss, “hi, how are you my love?” He asked. “Besides murderous.” He whispered that part in her ear.

"I'm debating a whole new room of hell dedicated to entitled parents, an entire shopping mall but no managers" honey said to him she did grab a knife to help with dinner

"so...." Viktor began being the first to recover "Carina what do you do? Not another actress right?" He asked able to bounce back a bit quicker than his wife

"no I'm an assistant to the Indian embassadors mother" Carina said to him smiling sweetly

“Yes,” Ezra said.

“And they pay you to do that?”

“Certainly more than you can possibly imagine.” Ezra said. “And I get to enjoy my job as much as I enjoy all other aspects of my life.”

Ben had heard the cry while leaving to get Shiro more energy drinks (seriously how did this guy not have a heart attack?) and he went to investigate finding vlad with the scientists again “H-Hey!” Ben called “Miss Emelyne said you can’t hurt him, Mister masters is investigating still” ben said quickly as he hurried in he shoved the scientist back for one the guards to grab at Ben and he ducked out of his arms and hurried to the other end of the room looking aound frantically until he grabbed a broom to be the closest weapon he had (seriously? an entire military base of weapons for the supernatural and all he couldl find was a broom? he was talking to security about this later)

Ava walked into the council room and quickly saw the alarm on their faces

“Your king has been apprehended by the knights of voice for the deaths of that old couple that was murdered this evening,” Ava announced to them looking at their faces “If you want him back before he gets hurt we’ll have to act fast, what’s more is you all know that it wasn’t him who killed them it was Carmilla. So not only has she committed a crime to harm people and potentially expose you she’s let your king be the scape goat in it and endangered him as well.” She announced to them she shifted her weight to one foot and looked them all over

“any objections to burning the witch? I’ll hunt her down if you guys want to go save your king.”

Vlad took advantage of the situation slamming one guard into the ground and another through the window. As for the scientist, “I think you just might get your wish today.” He hissed menacingly before shoving him in a closet and motioning for Ben to put the broom handle through it. “Thank you.” he said before collapsing as his consciousness faded.

Ezra smiled, “Well I think we all know where our vote lies.” He looked to Adhira and Carina. “So now for a plan of action to get our King back and make sure Carmilla pays.”

“What of her nephew?”

Ezra looked to Fabian. “He is here I think if his loyalties were elsewhere he wouldn’t be in among enemies.”

“Perhaps consider donating some of the honey as well to the local homeless shelters or food banks, sometimes people prefer it fore sweetening tea and it’s a luxury they might not get every day considering it can sometimes be expensive.” Honey suggested off the top of her head she kept walking around and opened her binder to some blank pages and began sketching a little bit

“So would you want a flow hive or a regular one? Flow hives tend to let the honey drip down into a special area where it’s easier to have access to it. You’ll need some beekeeping equipment and you’ll probably want to put the hive nearest to the area where you have the most bee friendly flowers”

“drac wants to be modern to woo an ‘adversary’ I need help it’s a bigger project than I can handle alone.” Fabian said running his hand through his hair

“oh and we have a time limit,he bought two seats at the honeystone charity gala”

He picked up the phone, “Fabian?” He listened in on the conversation. “Well he never was the one to walk when he could fly.” Ezra mused. “I’ll be there in a bit, just keep that hazard of an aunt away. She gives even me the willies.”

Drac looked himself over and looked at Fabian. “I hope this works, I should like to have an adversary worth having.” He eyed the image of himself in the mirror, he had always prided himself on dressing well, however he hadn’t been among society’s elite in some time and the fashion had changed greatly. For once he was having doubts. “Galas are like Balls yes?”
