Captain’s Log: June 2016

Things have been crazy. Between senior year of college and my music, I’ve been making loads of progress. I’ll be finishing up in December, that’s when things are gonna get real. I’m finally getting to the point where I make music I can tolerate, stuff that sounds like people would actually listen to it, lol. The rest of this year is gonna be crunch time for me though.. I’ll be working hard this summer, burning in the New London sun until Moonrise in August, using all my free time to make music or to play gigs. I had pretty nice show at Strange Brew Pub in Norwich at the end of May. I have another one coming up July 2nd, same place. I’ll probably be playing around 10 or 11, depending on how everything gets set up. We should have some dope lights and such, although who knows if they’ll be as good as this HEX system we had at this last one. The dude behind that is this guy BUZI, who is a visual wizard in his own right. Dudes in his early 20s and already did stuff with Warner Bros (for Prince, interestingly enough, RIP) and did the Shindig 2015 visuals which were absolutely sick.

Oh, and my birthday is on Wednesday, go me.

Its 2016, shits been wild so far. Saw Excision’s Paradox Tour at The Dome @ Oakdale Theatre, such a dope show, I’ll have to post some shit from it. He threw down this FIRE bootleg of Break Your Neck (by GTA & Valentino Khan) and X by Kai Wachi. I couldn’t find any audio of it anywhere besides the YouTube phone video of the Paradox visuals.. So I went and copped both of the tracks and remade it, I’m rendering a little video for it right now, gonna post that when its done fo sho. Other than that I’ve already thrown together a bunch of bootlegs and even an original track, all on my YouTube page cause Soundcloud has been giving me hella shit lately, got two strikes on my account for remixes and shit, fuck all that nonsense.
