Tennocon 2026

I really appreciate the Warframe community.

Tickets were CRAZY this year. I assume every year after will be the same, which is unfortunate. We had a terrible year last year. We brought someone into our house, assured we were helping someone who needed it, who turned out to instead bring the police to our door. We had to cancel our trip to Tennocon 2025 because of it, waiting to be given our computers back. Banned him from our property entirely, all that we had to to protect ourselves and others, of course. Then, I lost both my father and my uncle in the same week. Two of few people who were acutely aware of how far my family's abuse towards me went. (My parents were divorced and my mother remarried a man with anger issues). I also found out I had a long-undiagnosed cerebral spinal fluid leak, so I'm effectively confined to my house and a wheelchair if I'm out for extended periods until we can treat it and find out what even caused it, IF we do. I'm terrified about it if I think to hard, if I'm honest.

This year, we weren't going to let anything stop us. We got everything in order to make up for last year, but alas, Eventbrite and the absolutely insanely wonderful following that DE has cultivated and deserves blasted those tickets straight out of existence in just 5 minutes. As devastated as I am, and I won't drag this post down much more lamenting it, I am delighted that I was able to joke around in the Discord with some folks about it. You're all such wonderful people. This is the only thing I've had to look forward to for the past few months, so it's rough, but I need you all to know that you are absolutely delightful and deserve good things. DE is blessed with an incredible fanbase, and I know they know that. I am so happy for them. I remember when it was such a niche little game with what felt like a handful of fans. This is absolutely CRAZY. I am so so proud of them and this beautiful game.

Aight I gotta say it, the discourse about Roathe vs Emet is stupid. What and how are you going to win? At first I was curious, cuz I'm not a Final Fantasy person, but now I just do not get it. They're different characters, in different settings, that look entirely different, and share a voice. Those are the facts, because anything else would be a lawsuit lol Just give it up. It, ultimately, doesn't matter, does it? Just enjoy playing a game. We have so little positivity right now; let yourself play a game, and let others have fun. There's no prize for being right, but the back and forth IS getting annoying, and I cannot be the only one who thinks that. If you're picking through tags and stuff, I'm sure you can also admit you'd rather see stuff that isn't that high-school tug-of-war bs, so clear the airways lol we got lore and characters to enjoy

So I'm currently dealing with a LOT medically (like, pretending I don't have to worry about a terminal diagnosis and everything) and Warframe is like, the only thing I've successfully gotten dopamine from recently and I have, for a while, wanted a lil more from the holiday events and realized hey! A Nekros protoframe would be fun for that! Additional Naberus vendor, maybe trade one currency for the other kinda deal in case you hate the Deimos grind (like I do)

So then while headcanoning the who and when for him, I started humoring a Gyre design, too, who has absolutely gripped me by the throat. Now they have lore already and a plot line and like...don't send help but if you're DE maybe send an email cuz I'll straight up work for free just to pass the time and keep busy right now lmao

Day 3xxx of pretending I didn't give up my dream to write for video games and can apply to start a project porting every other Warframe into The Leverian so we have a nice easy codex for new players, plus other fun lil not-quite-plot events
