Little theory:

I personally think the old Jeremiah (Pre-Spray) is trying to fight back against this one. Because the way he’s conflicting himself and the fact that he’s showing emotions (unlike when the spray first took over him) i believe there’s some sort of inner struggle. I think there will be moments where the old Jeremiah will appear even for a few seconds.

Also, the fact the facial expression goes from smiling to almost upset.
