i've been thinking about ratchet all day and now i'm thinking about synth en ratchet and party ratchet and what if tfp ratchet really WAS like that when he was younger

Everyone’s relaxing, chatting away, perhaps engaging in some friendly arm wrestling…
And then there’s Jazz and Prowl.

It also would have been a great moment for them to pull Silas out and when they bring Breakdown’s body back to bury it or whatever, Ratchet realizes he is still alive somehow. Yep, that would have been great.
and then they couldve saved him and breakdown and knock out wouldve been reunited and oH my heart
Knock Out would be hugging Breakdown because damn his image just this once before he realizes he forgot to explain they kind of sort of defected to him.
he’d explain after he had that awkward moment of just straight up hugging breakdown out of joy and then remembering where he was and stepping back hurriedly to brush off his paint job
and then he’d have to say “oh yeah we’re kind of autobots now”

Then when Bulkhead and Wheeljack show up Knock Out joins in on attacking Silas. When Wheeljack asks why, Knock Out asks him if he’d want to work with the human that wore Bulkhead like a suit.”:
That would have been the perfect moment to either have him defect or lay groundwork for him changing sides. If only.

It also would have been a great moment for them to pull Silas out and when they bring Breakdown’s body back to bury it or whatever, Ratchet realizes he is still alive somehow. Yep, that would have been great.
There needs to be fanfic about this, and I want it. Like, when MECH put Breakdown back together, they thought everything was working properly because they were good at their jobs but they’re actually giant hacks and just cut the barely-living Breakdown’s motion control and sensory feeds and rerouted them to Silas’ body mount and had no idea what they were doing.
and so they exhume Silas from the wreckage and then realize ‘wait, he’s disconnected, why is there still power, that monster’s jury-rig is off?
and that’s when both Knock Out and Ratchet realize what’s happened and they don’t even argue with each other about autobots or decepticons or where they take Breakdown for surgery, they just look at each other and Breakdown’s on the emergency table faster than anyone knows what happened and both of them are so hardcore in fixing this tortured bot that everyone is afraid to come within 10 paces otherwise they might lose their arm to a flying laser scalpel or something the procedure is so intense.
