Found an entire library of tapes related to an obscure Japanese cult (Happy Science / Ryuho Okawa) amongst the movie section of a local thrift store. As you can probably see none of the tapes were in English. No idea what any of this is doing in New Jersey but it seems to be a fairly complete set with each tape going for roughly $2 each. The cassette tape section was similarly saturated with their materials.

America is the older brother that keeps doing crack and telling everyone he's fine but then blames them when they ask further

Australia is that little dyslexic brother that KEEPS getting attacked by hostile animals and is somehow still alive

Ireland is that nonbinary one that runs around shouting profoundly important riddles that sound like gibberish to the rest

Canada is the cool quiet older sister with a sweater and glasses that's always sitting on the porch in the woods reading books

South Africa is like that little sister that hitchhiked at 16 and we never heard from her again except for strange postcards every 2 and a half years

The family gatherings are always awkward until England falls alseep watching rugby in his chair and then we all clown on him over our traumas

Then out of nowhere our uncles Scotland and Wales crash into the side of the house and with absolutely no shock we know who it is and run out to greet them because they're the only ones that can make the whole thing bearable and funny
