One, there is no cure for type 1 diabetes! It is an immune disorder!
Two, some "miracle" cures may have fillers such as sugar or even unregulated chemicals that may make management of type 1 diabetes worse! Three, anything that sounds too good probably is!

As a pharmacy student I frequently get asked by both type 1 and 2 diabetics what the A1c percentage really means, so here is a great conversion chart. According to guidelines by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) diabetics should be aiming for an A1c of 7.0% which is equal to a 3 month blood sugar average of 170mg/dl (there are exceptions to goal A1c percentages so please check with your healthcare provider for your personal recommendation).
