Hello! So I wanted to ask about how you ignore the hate towards Noah when all the big accounts such as PopBase, Film Updates post about him like that are doing now? I have just started standing him and I'm not going to lie it makes me nervous whenever I see these accounts posting about him because you just know the performative activists are waiting to pounce. Take the Pop Tingz account that's already posted calling him ugly for no good reason. This hate just makes me a bit anxious.

Oh that’s easy.

I do what I always have. I fight back.

I mock their stupidity. Point out their hypocrisy.

But more than all of that? I just go be a fan. Every famous person has haters who are bold and loud on social media. But if you let them cow you, then nothing ever changes.

A year ago, a tweet like that would’ve gotten 24 likes and been horribly ratio’d. Now Noah has a lot of fans who are fed up with the hate and want to create positive spaces for him and those who love him.

When the hate gets bad, retreat to those spaces. But don’t be ashamed of posting him or talking about how much you love him. That’s how we push back against the noise and make it less scary.

I’m obsessed with how you draw Elphaba’s microbraids, would you mind giving a tutorial on them?

I can try, mostly it's about the general shape of the hair to begin with.. Since it's a big mass of small braids, it lays heavily around her head, pulling the top of her head somewhat flat and the bottom of her hair having the most volume, often starting from somewhere around her ears.

It's unnecessary to draw each individual braid, and instead you should focus on showing them on the spots in her hair that the light hits, like the top of her head, and to leave the shadows truly black.

I'd suggest just playing around with shapes and styles loosely, to get a feel for her hairstyles..!
