so today I watched both parts of “the puppy episode” and I cried! I recommend this to any queer person out there, or anyone really. It’s just so powerful how ellen has had such a monumental impact on the LGBTQ+ community. The narrative she depicts in the episodes still rings true today, and resonated with me as a lesbian. I am forever grateful to the queer people that came before me and paved the road for me to be able to be myself and live a safe, fulfilling, life in most of the western world. I just love ellen so much.

ok so tonight I went to prom and saw a lot of this girl who sexually assaulted me multiple times without knowing it. I feel like shit. I had a paper due at midnight, but I’m just sitting here on the verge of tears because she doesn’t even know what she did to me.

like, I could come forward and talk to her about it, but I honestly don’t have it in me. this person actually has taken extensive measures to make my life harder than it is already is. I don’t even want to get into that though. I just really struggled to sit there and pretend to be unaffected. it was years ago, and I may never see her again after I graduate (next week) but jesus.
