there’s an account blatantly stealing my fanfic idea without crediting me, and i have a pretty good guess on the fact it may be an ex friend of mine. this is not an invitation to harass them, but it is a request to block them, despite them seemingly having abandoned the blog, lol.
TL;DR (go under the cut for evidence & stuff): @/spiderscarriau is blatantly stealing my fanfiction concept, without credit, and acting like it’s their own idea. i genuinely would have zero issue with it, if there was some kind of mention of my fic inspiring them, but there isn’t.
evidence one; their first post was in january, 2026, while the first chapter of POTPAAYS was posted in 2024.
evidence two; literally their entire outline of the heroes/villains is the same as mine, with one minor change (swapping taylor and normal)

evidence 3:
while my fic wasn’t inspired by infinite spider-man 2017, it WAS inspired by madoka magica, which is something i heavily discussed with my friends at the time. there was even supposed to be a scarri costume inspired by madoka!
(i’m not going to scrounge about my discord messages from 2024 for this, but here’s me tying madoka to POTPAAYS)
evidence four: this person spells scarri the same way i do. i only know a few people who do that, and they’re all either close friends, or ex-friends.
again. i would not care if they credited me. the issue is them pretending this is their own idea, when it is extremely clear it is just my own idea, with a different ship centric. i don’t like that!!! don’t do that!!!

i’m not acting like it’s the end of the world, it’s just extremely rude, lmfao. imagine you have a piece of art that you hold extremely near and dear, that you put a LOT of work into (nearly 56k published words so far!!! not counting discussions in dms, roleplay, art, etc!!! a labor of love for two full years!!!) and someone guts it for their own use and doesn’t credit you. i literally wouldn’t give a single shit if they had ONE post where they mentioned my work as inspiration rather than acting like it’s their original idea.
additionally, this person is 100% someone i used to know, which adds insult to injury. i’m not an unfriendly person, and this would be extremely flattering if they’d reached out. they can tag me. if they’re someone i’ve blocked, they’re blocked for a reason & shouldn’t be so obviously lifting my ideas.
to add to this, “you’ll live” is such a stupid statement. it completely removes the hurt someone could feel that their idea was stolen by someone who not only did they used to know, but actively engaged in that content with. yeah. she’ll live. but that doesnt remove the fact that it would hurt??? really bad?? she puts so much time and dedication into this project.

mind u he is throwing a hissy fit cause we didnt want a minor talking about non con in the GENERAL CHAT even if it was just a “joke”. like this dude is seriously the most immature person who talks about “saying it to his face” then blocking when someone tries to explain. like seriously. this level of delusion is worrying.
