When Rocky has the xenonite suit he finally gets to find out what the hair on Grace's head feels like. "What the fuck is this, question? Weid texture. No don't move it's intriguing."

Imagine Grace defined his name as the elegance definition of grace and Rocky spends years thinking how fucking ironic this clumsy leaky space blobs name is.

Until Grace slips out a sentence along the lines of "could you give me a little grace here" and Rocky immediately points out he used a word wrong so Grace has to explain that yeah, grace means elegance but it can also mean mercy sometimes too.

And Rocky has to suddenly reconcile that the clumsy leaky blob that saved his life twice, that almost certainly doomed himself to come back for him, name is Mercy.

oh also I had a dream last night where grace and rocky were once again saving the world (in a non-space sci-fi context) and no matter what happened grace knew he wasn't going to make it so he killed/sacrificed himself as he got rocky to talk about something positive so rocky wouldn't be sad in the moment that he died and so that the last thing grace would ever hear was rocky being happy and I think that's a little sick and fucking twisted of my subconscious to do that to me

once again these are all from like the same two canvas files in procreate judging from the same color background. also straight up had a dream where grace and rocky figured out how to make gnocchi out of taumoeba hence the making gnocchi over a bunsen burner

some doodles !! i’m a big believer in huge adrian and they’re loosely inspired by variscite because the colours felt Right.

also some sappy things, had a vision of rocky and grace rough housing and just being silly dudes, and a quick attempt at human! rocky and adrian but i might come back to those and tinker with them a bit more at some point :) (and by I Might i mean I Will)
