IT IS NEARLY TIME FOR THE RESTORED 2025 EVENT SEASON GIFT POSTINGS!

Hi all! This is a reminder post that the gift posting period for the restored 2025 Death Note Secret Santa event will be taking place during February 15th - February 21st. As before, please use the dnsecretsanta25 tag when posting your creations.

Thank you again, earnestly and truly, to all who have been so flexible during the process of trying to restore this event. It is much appreciated- and, I'll admit, seeing how excited many of you still were and are made it easier to power through the shadowban.

Finally, a quick announcement that folks who are taking part during this posting period will be receiving a little token of thanks from the mod in the form of really, really shitty Death Note themed valentines. You can expect to receive yours somewhere between posting your gift and the end of the posting period. I'll be staggering these to try and avoid any of Tumblr's spam filters that may or may not exist.

Hello! Quick update on outreach - this blog has been acting weird today. It has seemed semi-restored. I will not be banking on this, but I admittedly used some of the time today distracted and trying to figure out what gives. (Quick side note, I may tap some followers to help me troubleshoot soon.)

January approaches, bringing chill in its wake. With it comes the 2026 Naomi Misora Appreciation Week - a week intended to celebrate a determined woman with a nickname to match. Is Naomi's week still on?

As it's run a little differently, I think Naomi week should be fine. The delay with this event is mostly due to the archival of previous submissions, restructuring how assignments go out to avoid triggering anything on Tumblr's end, and reevaluating timeline.

Materials for NW should be up within the next few days (by the 28th) and promo posts will go here. For examples of the event structure, @bb-appreciation-week mirrors it.
