Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the lovely birthday wishes today. It means the world to me that you took the time from your busy schedules to remind me that I’m getting old.😂 ⠀ As Walt Disney has it, “Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional.” And indeed I choose to grow up, 2018 has been one hectic year but I was able to learn a few things this year: ⠀ 1) Do something you love no matter what people think of you. 2) No one knows your body better than you ( work out and seek medical attention if something seems different) 3) Friends come and go 4) Surround yourself with positive people 5) Don’t compare yourself or try to be different from who you really are. 6) Money doesn’t buy happiness ( money is not evil it just exposes who you really are) 7) Don’t take yourself too seriously ( laugh at yourself a little) 8) If you’re passionate you’ll work on it day and night. 9) Only take advice from experts ( for example if you want relationship advice seek it from someone that’s been married for a really long time; money advice from someone that has 10x the amount of money you wish you had: you get the idea) 10) Don’t walk away mad at your loved one ( something I did and I will regret daily for the rest of my life) ⠀ These are few of of the life most precious things I was able to learn this. What were you able to learn? Put down in the comments. ⠀ ❤️- @dukenyabuto ⠀ . . . . #motivation #inspiration #gratitude #gratitudeposts #dowhatyoulove #vloggers #bloggerlife #lifestyleblogger #newyoutubers #teamafricans #gainwithpaula #kenyansoninstagram #believeinyourself #kenyanbloggers #bloggingforinspiration #kenyanvloggers #kenyanyoutubers #dukenyabuto https://www.instagram.com/p/BreZZU4llO6/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=mas55ejbn6pj
