âI went to a school for mutants.  They taught me control so I wouldnât you know accidentally do stuff.  And to not expend too much energy doing things. The rest is just me, practicing.â  Magical abilities? One thing to consider it, another to have someone else confirm it. It made it even more real. Â
Sitting down Billy noted the cloak but honestly not the most strange thing heâd seen. Especially considering his school.  Curious he picked up the cup, only to have a familiar aroma hit his nose.  The tea his mom would make whenever he had a rough day.  Cautiously he took a sip. Perfect temperature and everything.  âWow, this is pretty cool.â
As for the thing that tried to eat him. âIf it eats magic, how are we supposed to send it back?â He hesitated considering the options.  âThe professor called me a Reality Shaper. Maybe I can wish it home?â Of course if it went wrong he might accidentally bring more here instead. Or make this its home.
School for mutants, that would imply that the boy was under the tutelage of one Charles Xavier. Stephen tapped a finger against his chin as he inspected the young magic-user. Heâs going to have to figure out what kind of abilities he has. Probably a couple of tests would be able to determine those.
Watching him take the cup, he sat down across from Billy. A gesture between them and a gentle nod. âJust looking out for the generation of our future, and it seemed like you needed that after all the running youâve been doing tonight.â Stephen smiled. The boy seemed to enjoy whatever drink he found within the cup.
âReality shaper. Fascinating.â Leaning back in his chair, he pulled a leg over the other, loosening the cloakâs tie. It wiggled its way out from under Stephen and floated away for a moment before returning with a book. Dropping it in Strangeâs lap. Taking it, he pets the cloakâsâ corner. âThank you.â Opening it up a couple of pages in. âAre you able to wish things into existence. That might be how it got here, a tear opened up and it passed through. I will show you how to send it back. Itâs a simple spell and Iâll be right by your side.â He held out the book for Billy to take. âTake a look at that and see if you can do this spell.â
