You want headcanons? I’ve got a million.
1. Dani, Bright, JT, and occasionally Gil will do trivia nights. The team was officially formed as a bonding experience and unofficially formed because Dani and JT realized Bright wins all of them and then they get bragging rights despite doing little to nothing.
2. The best happy ending for Bright would be him ending up as a forensic psych professor.
3. Ainsley and Dani are not allowed at game nights together because the competitiveness gets wildly out of hand.
4. JT and Tally have a little corner of their apartment where Dani’s stashed some of her stuff so that she can crash there when things get crazy on the job.
5. The HR/legal/insurance departments have a hit out on Bright; if you can inconvenience him in some way, they’ll give you a dozen cupcakes. Also, they have Nerf guns for if he ever comes to visit them. They have done SO much paperwork because he wasn’t careful and resentment has built up.
6. Going to court for the “Head Case” trial was a nightmare. They have real evidence but when asked how they figured out the killer JT/Dani have to say that their consultant figured it out in a dream when he was unconscious at the bottom of an elevator shaft. It’s horrible and Bright should have bought them food every day of that trial.
