now, that’s all fine and dandy, but what about the blog itself?

simple! this is a confession blog for your whoniverse related confessions, new and old, anything’s ok! just make sure it’s about doctor who in some sort of way :)

there is only one rule you have to follow: don’t be rude to one another. let’s stay mature, alright? have civil debates, not full on fights! just be respectful

I like posting mildly controversial doctor who opinions (eg. river song isn’t a time lord and stuff like that) on tiktok in the hopes that people will argue with me about it because I find it fun and also because it’s tiktok I usually end up knowing more lore than them and can infodump while also being right

My teenage self hated it when Capaldi became the Doctor because he wasn't a hot twink, but a grumpy old man. I got so mad that I stopped watching the show for years and even stopped being a fan.

The 60th anniversary special came out and I thought "why not, David Tennant is cool" and I watched it with my dad, which activated a category 7 autism event. I now own three box sets of the NuWho era and am once again obsessed with the show.

Now that I've matured and watched Capaldi's tenure in full, I can see that I was wrong. He didn't deserve the hate, and now I know the truth: Twelve is adorable in his own way. He's tied with Nine for my second favorite.

Also, Eleven looks like a depressed horse to me. I love him.

This is going to sound weird but I've been stuck in this loop for days

It's not been long since I've begun watching doctor who (I've been on our dear hellsite since the early beginnings of the superwholock craze but I was deep in the Loki, Hobbit and LOTR fandoms) and always thought "I'll watch it when the fandom calms down a little to not spoil it".

But now I see I was so wrong. In high school I had a huge crush on a guy who was into Dr.Who but I never acted on it because I was too shy and thought that it would be better if I fixed whatever was wrong with me first, because he was so sweet and adorable I thought I didn't deserve him. I'm one of those folks who only goes out with someone if I love them and see myself spending the rest of my life with them and build a home. It's been years now and I'm more emotionally stable than I ever was, I've settled into my life but I have to live on the fringes of society because of my PTSD so I chose to remain single all these years.

And I see how the tenth doctor acts with Rose, and it reminds me of these little ways he would show affection to me (he was a rather shy person too) like kissing me on the top of my head or my forehead because he was taller than me, and I see so much of my old self in Rose, through the way she acts down to the way she smiles. And I know he identified with the doctor. And I've been thinking about him non-stop since. I'm a huge romantic but I'm scared to talk to him, I still feel like I don't deserve such a sweet guy, and I fear I'm not the same person I once was, though I remained kind and an overall positive, happy person when I feel safe.

I apologize if this confession is not the theme of this blog but I needed to get it off my chest, what if one day I realize I'm already the best person I can be and that I could have helped him through life like a companion would have?

i don’t know if this will help, but, i think that because you seem to be a good person at heart you DO deserve such a sweet guy! if you want to talk to him, go for it. the worst he can say is no, right?

and it isn’t, no, but it’s alright regardless, as it’s good to get these things out of your system :)

This might just be me but I remember around the time when I was first watching S7 of New Who I kinda had a theory about Clara's origins and idk it's just quite funny how different it is to what actually happened:

For a small period of time, I thought maybe Clara was a future regeneration of the Doctor (or at least another timelord), and that mightve explained why she kept coming back (idk, timey-wimey something hehe!)

I also really liked the idea of the Doctor travelling with a version of themself as a companion, I thought that'd be an interesting dynamic :D

(Again, ik it was quite a dumb theory but I was really trying to figure out the whole Impossible Girl thing and that was just one of my favourite ideas, even if it didn't make a lot of sense 😅)
