[id: A digital drawing of Arash and Cú Chulainn Alter from Fate/Grand Order. Arash is wearing a friendly smile and stands in front of Cú Alter, saying “excuse me! He asked for no pickles.” Cú Alter is looming behind him, completely in shadow except for his left eye. /end id]
[id: a doodled two panel comic of the artist, drawn in hot pink. In panel one, they are facing slightly away and looking over their shoulder as they reach into a jar that says “Yugioh” while someone offscreen says, “Mari, no.” In panel two, the artist has grabbed the jar and is facing the person offscreen so that they can throw sparkles from the jar at them in a move labeled “Yugioh sparkle attack.” The person offscreen says, “Oh god my eyes!!!” /end id]
Whats up gamers and duelists i have a new hyperfixation and ive been using it to make my friends’ lives a living hell
[id: A pen-and-marker drawing of OP as Star Platinum from Part Three of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. They are drawn in a fighting stance; standing on their right foot with the other tucked under them, left fist chambered at their side, and right fist raised to block. Their hair is flowing, their brow is furrowed, and they’re grinning like they’re ready to rumble. OP is wearing a sleeveless hot pink bodysuit under Star Platinum’s usual attire, and though their hair starts black, it fades into purple streaked with hot pink. It is drawn on white lined notebook paper using pencil, black sharpie pen, black, purple, and hot pink ballpoint pen, black, yellow, and hot pink felt tip pen, and red, grey, yellow, and hot pink marker. /end id]
Me?? Draw something that isn’t a little doodle bean??? Wild.
Anyway, a friend of mine mentioned how whenever they see Star Platinum memes he reads them in my voice, and then made a joke about how I am now the voice of the Star Platinum family. So obviously I had to pull out all the pens and markers I had shoved into my work bag and put my spreadsheets on hold until I was able to finish drawing this.
[ID: A side-by-side picture of two cartoon busts drawn in marker, comparing the character designs of Noriaki Kakyoin from Part Three of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure and Merla Dappledown, the artist’s D&D character.
Merla Dappledown, a halfling bard, is drawn on the left in hot pink marker. Her hair has been pulled into a high ponytail with a section of wavy hair kept loose in the front. She is smiling and wearing a pair of dangly star-shaped earrings. Noriaki Kakyoin is drawn on the right in green marker. He is smirking and raising an eyebrow. /end ID]
Things Merla and Kakyoin have in common
Dangly earrings
Hair noodle
Road rage
Low-key terrifying
In conclusion: I have a type :’)
So I have an office job now. That’s wild. Remember when I was in high school and drawing hot mermaids? That’s wild. Anyways, Business Bean Mars from my Business Bean notebook.
[ID: a cartoon bust of the artist drawn in black pen on lined paper. The artist’s hair is short and fluffy, and they are wearing a collared shirt. They are smiling. End ID]
I have so many feelings about this kid
[ID: a cartoon drawing of Jotaro Kujo from Part Three of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, drawn from the neck up in purple marker. He is glaring, and the katakana,ド (do), has been written around his head in the same color. End ID]
I think his shades shouldve been more ridiculous, actually
[ID: a cartoon drawing of Noriaki Kakyoin done in green marker. The collar of his shirt has been exaggerated so that it’s high enough to cover the lower half of his face. He is smiling and wearing triangle-shaped anime sunglasses. End ID]
Turns out I am capable of doodling other characters from jjba. Wild.
[ID: Three post-it note drawings of Guido Mista, Narancia Ghirga, and Pannacotta Fugo from Part Five of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. Each one is drawn with a different color and has a handwritten caption.
Image one: Mista is drawn in light brown marker. He is holding a pistol in each hand and aiming them at the sky. His eyebrows are furrowed, and he is glaring at the viewer. The caption reads, “The quiestest people; bottom text.”
Image two: Narancia is drawn in purple marker. He is leaning forward and holding up his hands. The caption reads, “Airplanes.”
Image three: Fugo is drawn in red marker. He is smiling with his eyes closed, and is wearing a pink flower in his hair. The caption reads, “Look at you, strawberry bitch.” End ID]
[id: a vertical three-panel comic of Jotaro Kujo and Noraki Kakyoin from Part Three of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. Jotaro is drawn in purple marker, and Kakyoin is drawn in light green marker. In panel one, Jotaro is scowling as he says, “Brb I’m gonna go beat a vampire to death with my bare hands.” In panel two, Kakyoin has a flat expression as he asks, “Literally why.” In panel three, Jotaro replies, “Self care. And it’s funny.” Kakyoin’s response comes from off-panel: “Jojo no-” /end id]
And now for something completely different /j
[ID: a digital drawing of Noriaki Kakyoin from Part Three of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure done in hot pink. He is smiling and drawn from the shoulders using round cartoon lines. /End ID]

[ID: A drawing of Jotaro Kujo from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, done in a fairly simple cartoon style and drawn in hot pink. He is lying on the ground and has his right hand resting on his stomach. There is a textbox above him in the same shade of hot pink as the drawing, and quotes the chorus of Uncle Kracker’s cover of “Drift Away”. End ID]
Whats up jjba fandom my name is Mari and I draw exclusively shitty bean comics in hot pink on my phone

[ID: three images of Jotaro Kujo and Noriaki Kakyoin from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. All are drawn in a fairly simple cartoon style. The text is hand-written in the first comic and typed out in the other two. Everything is done in the same shade of hot pink.
Image one: A three panel comic of Jotaro and Kakyoin. In panel one, Kakyoin is glaring at a clipboard as he asks, "Jojo, what the fuck am I looking at?" In panel two, Jotaro is smiling and making a finger gun with his left hand. "My cool guy license." In panel three, Kakyoin looks up from the clipboard with an unimpressed expression. "Jotaro this is very clearly a cease and desist."
Image two: A drawing of Kakyoin from the shoulders up. He is facing to the right and has a shit-eating grin on his face as he says, "Hey there demons, it's me, ya boy."
Image three: a full-body drawing of Jotaro dabbing. The text is split into top text and bottom text and reads, "There are many benefits to being a Marine Biologist." End ID]

[ID: a cropped scan of my sketchbook. At the top left is a light blue post it note with two cartoon figures sketched in black ballpoint pen. The figure on the left has short hair, glasses, and is wearing a tank top. The figure on the right has shoulder-length hair, and is wearing a t-shirt. Different colored marker has been scribbled around them to test out the various colors. "Comic title ideas" is written to the right of the post-it. It is underlined, and underneath is one bullet point, which reads, "Platonic Intimacy in the Digital Age." Beneath the post-it and the writing are two cartoon busts with circular heads and simple smiling expressions. The bust on the left has short, fluffy hair and is drawn in orange marker. The bust on the right has wavy, shoulder-length hair and is drawn in blue marker. End ID]
