squints. im like. dangerously tempted to do an axi AU design and cram him into my worldbuilding project. but that requires redesigning his tattoos into something non-dnd-specific….. hmmmm….

like his story is so city-ish because of the politics going on in his family (nobility in fantasy dnd renaissance era yay) and his general despairs (owes his shitass mafia-esque family a LOT of money) but GOD it would be such a fun worldbuilding exercise to see how i could cram him into my post-apocalyptic fantasy setting. get bronze-age’d idiot.

i have some manner of disease where i will sketch a thing and then instead of, yknow, finishing the drawing, my brain just goes "ok! it exists now! no further work needed" and i suffer and i suffer and i suffer 💀

the amount of layers is a bit insane though

NEW GUY ALERT!!!!! guys what if a dnd campaign was a hunger games wouldnt that be fucked up or what. its about to be real in 3-4 business weeks when we get our schedules to align <3

anyways this is Nico he’s my new skrunkly. i wanted to give him more medieval bestiary vibes than the typical dragonborn design bc its a homebrew setting :3

Nico is a lanky and long-necked dragonborn. He has a pointed nose, a small mohawk of spikes, pointed ears, and his horns are cut short. A snake tongue flicks out of his closed mouth. He is covered in messy scaly details, and wears a plain shirt.

The first sketch is a profile view. His mouth curls in a large grin of big fangs as his tongue flicks out. His pointed nose scrunches up a bit like a snarl.

The second sketch is a front-facing view, and is very silly in comparison, because of his long snout and pointed ears. He has a cigarette in the side of his mouth. The words “goofy ass” are written next to it. The cursed picture of a front-facing Phineas from “Phineas & Ferb” has been added next to the sketch because of the resemblance.

The third and final sketch is a half-body view of Nico slouched with his arms kinda crossed. He holds a cigarette between his claws, and his expression is a tired side-eye.

The long bullet-point list of messy handwriting reads:

Scrungly shithead rogue. Silver dragonborn? Maybe green? Cut / filed horns for stealth reasons, or body mod rebellion, or IDK self-loathing / society. Tall lanky MF. Still sorting out the “folk hero” lore bit… maybe close with community and in the tournament for his folks back home. Edit: got it by accident LMAO. Losing the “IDGAF war”. Self-sacrificing MF volunteered for the tournament from small town.
