LA Knight Appreciation Post

While Cody Rhodes will always have my heart, LA Knight makes me weak in the knees. The megastar himself has quickly won the love and adoration of so many WWE fans, me being one of them.

Everything about him draws you in, his build, his voice, his swagger, and that signature "YEAH" has you cheering his name all night long. He is seriously talented and I can see him doing some great things in the WWE.

I can't help but like this guy. He is so charismatic and not only is he a good wrestler he's even better when he's got a mic in his hand. I could listen to his promos every day and not get tired of hearing him talk.

I am definitely looking forward to more LA Knight on my screen.

Iyo Sky: Summer Slam

A women's triple-threat match that ended with a winner that was not even originally on the card. I am of course talking about the match between Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and Bianca Bel-Air for the Women's Title. I got to say while I like Bianca Bel-Air as an athlete I was not happy to see her pin Charlotte and take the win, once again becoming Women's Champion. That tone changed when I see Iyo Sky come running in with Bayley and she cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase, cashing in on Bianca. Bianca was injured during the match and that was an advantage that Iyo took without hesitation. Iyo pinned Biana and became the new Women's Champion!!

I was so happy to see this win. Iyo has quickly become one of my favorites to watch. It is going to be interesting to see the play out this has with her fellow damage ctrl teammates. Let's Go Iyo!!

Cody Beats Brock

I will be the first to admit that I wasn't the biggest fan of how long this feud with Brock went on. However, I also admit that seeing these two guys in the ring is not disappointing. This was the ending to the feud with Cody and Brock that started the Monday after WrestleMania, and each man had a win over the other. It was looking pretty grim for Cody at the start as he was getting his ass handed to him by Lesner. Cody came back and put the beat down on Brock and pinned him for the win. Cody and Brock had a stare-down after the match and when I thought Brock was going to attack yet again he shook Cody's hand and acknowledged him as the winner. I enjoyed this match and was of course happy my boy Cody Rhodes won.

Tribal Combat: Summer Slam

What on this green Earth did I just witness?! So much betrayal in the bloodline. The saga continues as Roman was declared the winner over Main Event Jey Uso. Even though I knew Roman was not going to lose his title to Jey, I was not expecting the win to be ripped away from Jey by his own twin brother Jimmy Uso. Jimmy came out clad in black ripping Jey off of Roman at the 2 count and super kicked his own twin brother. Roman was able to recover enough to pin Jey, take the win, and retain his title.

The Tribal Chief's reign continues, and it looks like Jey may have to switch gears and take on his brother Jimmy.

LA Knight: Summer Slam

Currently watching Summer Slam and I am very entertained by tonight's events. One of my favorite highlights is that in the Battle Royale tonight LA Knight dominated and was the winner. Finally, he wins, and I am so damn happy about it. LA Knight has so much charm and charisma that he steals the spotlight. He definitely has a bright future ahead of him and I am so here for it.

I absolutely love Rhea Ripley. She is so athletic, strong, and just all-around badass. She is a big reason I got into wrestling in the first place. Mami is one badass wrestler and I look forward to seeing any match she has.

Hiram Lodge

I will admit when he first came onto the show I did not like Hiram Lodge, but he has grown on me. For me is the best character now on Riverdale, and I am obsessed. Gotta say Hiram is my number one character right now. I am looking forward to seeing more of him in season 5.

Why Am I Still Watching Riverdale?

***If you have not seen every episode of Riverdale spoilers lie ahead.***

I cannot stop watching Riverdale no matter how crazy and random the story lines get. To me it is the perfect guilty pleasure show it has everything for me to just check out and indulge in something ridiculous to relax.

For one it has Cole Sprouse as Jughead and I swoon every time his broody self is on screen. I was team Dylan during the Zack & Cody days, but Cole steals it being the bad boy Serpent King. If you couldn’t tell Juggy is my favorite character. 

Archie is beyond ridiculous and his story lines never really make sense. He is very reactive to everything and gets himself into BIG trouble situations that are completely avoidable. Also a whole plot line took place where Hiram...A grown man frame a teenage boy for murder and tries to ruin him. The lines are blurred on believable and just over the top. 

All these teenagers basically just live on their own and their parents don’t do much parenting. Hiram goes to war with his own daughter and brings his secret daughter out of nowhere to help him take down his teenage daughter... I don’t get how any of these kids expect to graduate they are never in school. All the scenes in school are usually in the hallways and in the lounge area of them just talking about how boss senior year is going to be.

Now should I be posting a long Riverdale rant while I’m enjoying a moscow mule? Yes I should. I am also currently listening to “Sugar Daddy” From Hedwig and the Angry Inch sung by Cheryl in their “Wicked Little Town” episode. In my opinion one of the BEST story lines was the Stonewall Prep/ Baxter Brother story line. I thought that was just fantastically done and when it ended beautifully everything explained and wrapped up. Then immediately followed up by another musical episode. 

I don’t know why I love this show so much, but I honestly hope I never stop loving it. It’s a trashy teen drama with completely crazy and unbelievable story lines, but damn it if it isn’t freaking amazing! I can honestly say I will keep watching Riverdale till it ends. Even with the negative comments I love this show and will be watching till its no longer there to watch.

Rick and Morty

I am not going to lie I had doubts that I’d actually like this show, but I watched all the episodes in a day and a half and I was obsessed! It was so funny and wrong that I couldn’t help but love it like crazy. If you have not seen this show I highly recommend it.
