Something Ive been thinking about.

We are always taught about background radiation levels and how bad it is.

Then you later realize that sunlight is literally radiation that destroys your skin. UV is bad and should be avoided. As soon as you start thinking about sunlight as being radiation, it becomes a lot easier to avoid.

AI art might be one of the best things that has happened for human creativity.

We (us art creators and enjoyers) have grown to value human made art more than ever, as we now have something to contrast it against.

There has always been slop creators (Muzak etc) and the people who were already making soulless corporate slop will be the ones pivoting towards AI content creation.

The downside is the sludge we will have to dredge through to find anything of value. But the valuables we find will shine even brighter.

What is light without the dark? What is good art without the sea of sludge that surrounds it?
