Honestly, he was glad everyone was laughing, it didn’t feel like they were laughing at him as him, but more so with him. “Huh, you think so? Well take a good look at all this glory, because I am burning this outfit after tonight,” he claimed, but struck a pose as if he was giving Dorcas an opportunity to take a picture. 

Dorcas tilted her head for a second and laughed, holding her fingers up and pretending to take a picture of Edgar, shaking her head for a split second. “You know, we should have you do this for every single Quidditch game that we have this year... and maybe next too. You think that we could talk the professors into letting you do it after we finish Hogwarts?”

It was the first big Quidditch game of the season, and neither Hufflepuff nor Slytherin were facing. That meant the deal with Emma Vanity was in effect, and as promised he had obtained a cheer leading uniform from Madam Malkin’s. Unfortunately, she hadn’t made the male version that he had expected, oh no, Edgar was in a skirt. He begrudgingly took the pom poms handed to him, and laughed a little at himself as he asked, “Does this skirt make my butt look too big?”

While Dorcas certainly hadn’t expected to stop down from the dorm to see Edgar in a skirt of all things.  It definitely wasn’t one of the weirdest things that she was probably going to end up seeing in the common room but it likely would rank, that was for sure. Still, a laugh escaped her lips and she shook her head at the question he gave, “Well, you know, it isn’t the absolute worst look on you,”
