the little birds hop around on deidara’s palms, opening and closing their beaks in a silent chorus of chirps. he opens his mouths just enough for his tongues to swipe at them, infusing them with more chakra — only just so. the birds become more animated as intended, spreading their little wings and allowing deidara to cast a critical eye over their details. hm.

nimble fingers make quick work curling over the soft clay, crushing the birds into deformed clumps of nothing. “ —the next batch is gonna turn out better, yeah.”     /     @dogchained​

   her eyes remained casted at his puzzling hand, but she still remains still.             despite her entrance into the akatsuki being a bit rough   ( and forced )   akibimi still made sure to keep to herself and simply do her work until she found a way out of the eyes of the upper head. her blue eyes examine the birds on his hand as it appears they would be getting ready for a new mission that was to come. the young woman sighed and nodded, more so to herself then him.

          ‘ our mission should be completed by now, deidara - san. ’   she attempted to gather his attention with those words, though a part of her felt more ignored than anything else.   ‘ let’s make it quick, like your usual. ’

i wanna focus on this little thing i just commented kinda as a joke in my tags but then got slammed to the wall with the thought of; yes, akibimi has a habit of watching / monitoring / stalking others and sometimes they’re not even her intended target. they’re just people that peeked her interest for a moment and she is “analyzing” before seeing if something is wrong with them when they don’t push pass that threshold of birthing curiosity. that’s kind of when she more or less “punishes” the person or victim for being disappointing or simply being a target. it all takes time and how long it takes for her to get bored with someone.
