and i’m gonna throw some sexuality/identity musing here just because. i don’t wanna bother my friends but the whole idea of journaling and writing feelings for my own use is so weird i can’t get over it

so like, i enjoy being aromantic. i like it. im happy with it. but i’m not like. fine with people i know very real life knowing? because it sounds so intangible. going to my family and being like “i am aromantic i dont feel romantic attraction to anyone” i just KNOW will get me the thats not a real thing comments.

my friend keeps calling me gay, a girlkisser, a lesbian, etc. which i don’t mind. i did identify that way for a long time, and any romantic attraction i have DOES go to women and not men so maybe she’s not wrong.

my sister told her boyfriend’s mother, who tried to imply they should set me up with a brother of a friend of his (because we’re both autistic? lol), “i’m pretty sure my sister is gay”

it’s like,,, ugh!!!!! i wish aromantic was seen the same as bisexual, lesbian, gay, etc!!!! like i could just tell these people i’m aromantic and they would GET it!

the shape of this one specifically is my favourite. the way the fat settles around my hips. i love it. i think it makes me look so soft. i like to be soft! i want people to view me as soft! i feel soft all the time

oh she’s so soft carpet coded. her fur is thick and dense. curly. really soft. she also likes to lay flat on her tummy in what i call “bear mode”. you know, like a skinned bear rug with the head attached still lol

i wish i still felt attractive. a couple of years ago i bought that lame cow lingerie because i was like i want to feel good about myself. and i looked so good in it!

i liked how my fat settled on my body. i thought it looked really cute. but idk,,, maybe it’s just the change in my emotional state these last few years making me feel super dissatisfied with how i feel in myself? idk

sorry i’m gonna have a moment here with my crumbling mental health lol.

actually not really mental health in general, just my anxiety? my dog was sick - emergency vet for three days. she got better. one of my parents dogs was sick - overnight at the emergency vet. last night the other family dog got sick and she’s in the vet. it’s just so stressful this whole thing is bringing up SO many traumatic memories from the last time this dog got sick (sepsis, weeklong at the emergency vet, 20,000$ in vet bills we paid out of pocket). it’s just such a stressor both for the health of the dog AND the financial stability my family has. we’re a low income family as it is! of course we make it work for the dogs because we love them, but it’s a lot of loaning money!!

the vet my mum spoke to today said that the dog currently sick is alright. she’s bright and happy - just not eating. she was there when my dog was sick and said that this dog is much better stability wise than mine was. but OH MY GOD does the anxiety still just spiral. every time i start to relax my brain remembers how quickly everything happened three years ago and poof! comfort is gone!

there’s apparently a bunch of different bacteria in the poop of the dog who got sick second - they’re waiting to hear from a specialist to see how to proceed with that, hopeful that maybe it’s something antibiotics can fix. and then we don’t have to worry about the fourth dog becoming unwell. but now my brain is like, what do you mean there’s a range of different bacteria and they don’t know what to do with it???!!

ugh. i’ve been neglecting my auslan unit at school because i just can’t show up and focus. it’ll be week five this week and i don’t know if i’ll be able to go. i don’t want to fall behind. but i also feel like i need to leave. my thoughts aren’t dark to be worrying, but they’re still not happy. i need to just spend a day in the city - catch a train into sydney, spend the day just walking the streets with headphones on not thinking about anything. don’t know if that’s a worthwhile thing doing on monday at the expense of my class. ughhhhh
