the pitt has such incredible writing because in every conflict you can see both sides. langdon is overly harsh on santos but he’s not wrong about her not being a team player and endangering patients by going around the chain of command. robby should not be using a mean nickname behind his employee’s back, and she is a great doctor, but mohan does take too much time with each patient which slows everyone else down and makes them pick up the slack. mckay is right to emphasize the potential danger that david poses but robby is also right to not want to get the cops involved for no reason. even up until the very end, gloria has a point about the danger of using unscreened blood but we know why they did it. every argument and disagreement highlights what a difficult job this is and the catch-22 that emergency medicine workers are in to provide a high level of care and deal with the range of possibilities that come through their doors, all while being understaffed and overworked

Something that I really love about Destiel fics where Dean hasn’t been to hell yet is how Dean is so much more open to falling in love with Cas.

Ngl, this Aphrodite piece is probably the most detailed piece I've ever made. As in, little details. I usually make very simple stuff. I had to challenge myself; it's not an "I can't do it", it's an "I don't feel like doing it". But this time, I'm trying to do it. If I focus on it as if I'm a beader, instead of drawing, it feels a little better. Tiny piece by piece, it comes together.

I just know Colt is so clingy. Like it’s not his fault. It’s just his personality. But he really does find it difficult to be sitting or standing next to you, and not to be able to touch you.

He likes to entwine your pinkie fingers, but that’s really the bare minimum for him - he’d only do that if you’re somewhere where you’ve TOLD him to lay off the PDA.

Otherwise he really does stand with his arm draped around your shoulders, sometimes with his chin hooked over the bulk of your trapezius. If you’re sat together, his hand is on your thigh (esp when he’s driving and you’re passenger princess). Sometimes he just holds your knee, even though it’s a bit of a weird position he finds it extremely comforting.

You’re in public? He doesn’t care. If anyone stares for too long, he just winks at them, and that usually scares them off. Not that any guy would dare to look at you when Colt is clinging onto you like some overgrown puppy.

“You can go more than ten seconds without touching me, you know.” You say, not really meaning it. You don’t want him to stop.

Still, he pouts.

“But I like touching you. You’re warm, you’re soft, you smell nice-“

“Alright. Alright. I don’t mind. As long as you’re not grabbing my ass in public all the time.”

“…would that be a problem-“

sometimes i think about little mac praying to god to not make him queer and then i remind myself this is a situation comedy. there is nothing comedic about this situation

extracurriculars I think Sam did ranked by how much turmoil they caused in family

- track. considered silly but ultimately harmless bc hey, at least he's getting exercise. dean goes to his meets and heckles the other team and is generally extremely annoying and sam rolls his eyes but also maybe secretly smiles abt it when nobody's looking

- mathletes. Also pretty harmless bc dean and john both think it's hilarious and kind of adorable but dean literally can't stop giving him shit for it and eventually sam is like sorry I'm not a dumbass who flunked 11th grade and they hurt each other's feelings a little

- model un ('yeah Sam wants to go on a field trip. '(It's a conference!)' 'oh I'm sorry apparently it's a conference. yeah he's gonna pretend to be France. yeah the country.') John thinks this is really bizarre and he hates how much time it takes and he's like Sam this is nonsense and Sam's like omigod dad u r LITERALLY ruining my life 😤!! My team NEEDS me.

- debate team. Sam is absolutely the type of kid to learn all the logical fallacies and start bringing them up in arguments and it makes Dean want to STRANGLE him. 'That's post-hoc rationalization.' 'Gesundheit.' they have a massive scream fight about this.

- our town. Dean is like Sam you might not realize this but if u do theater. Ppl might think you're. And Sam is like think I'm what 🤨 and Dean is like oh never mind. but frets and squirms abt it so bad he almost gives himself a hernia and starts campaigning to get Sam a girlfriend. when Sam tries to beg out of a hunt so he can do tech week he and John have this enormous blowout fight where John calls Sam selfish and Sam is like mom would want me to have a NORMAL LIFE and nothing is ever quite the same again
