I decided to share some of my work on a fan comic based on Blood Omen 1. I've wanted to show the Nosgoth from Blood Omen 1 in the style of Soul Reaver 1 for a long time, but the best way to do that is through massive locations. Here is some of my work featuring the city of Willendorf. I mainly focused on the exterior of the palace and the port district. However, part of the middle-class quarter is also shown. I truly imagine Nosgoth as being more developed than in the original game, and I've done all of this in the form of a reboot.

Okay, I want to share a fragment of Kain's childhood from the comic I'm making. First of all, because in the original game he was introduced as a nobleman basking in wealth. It seems to me that in Nosgoth, wealth is a relative concept, since many nobles in the Middle Ages were occupied with wars and internecine slaughter. Therefore, Kain's childhood and youth were indeed full of the fruits of the life of wealthy nobles.

Kain in the city of the ancient vampires.

It should be a gallery of three to four colored works. In it, Kain is in the city of the ancients and trying to escape a pursuit; some of his abilities are blocked in this location, so he has to rely on brute force.

Blood Omen1 Battle of the last stand redisigned.

Okay, I finally decided to use AI to colorize my frames from a fanfic about the old redisigned Nemesis from Blood Omen. In it, Kain makes a deal with him: he will give up the positions of Otmar's army in exchange for Nemesis helping him kill the Guardians. After Nemesis defeats Otmar, he surrounds Kain with his army. Kain is outraged by this betrayal and reminds him of their agreement. In response, Nemesis shows him Moebius's head and says he will keep his word—after all, Kain is also a Guardian. He then adds that you need to keep your friends close and your enemies even closer, after which he throws Moebius's head at Kain's feet and accidentally activates Kain's time-travel device, causing him to be teleported through time.

After some minor editing, I still worked on certain details and imperfections, including the color. And honestly, it turned out exactly how I wanted. I've always been interested in seeing the old Nemesis at the peak of his power. Despite many people not liking AI, for me the only question is in whose hands it is.

A funny story: I have a friend who doesn't like long answers. So he asks me about Kain's motives and how he plans to change the time loop. Not to mention the role the Soul Reaver sword plays in all this. And he expects a short answer, just a couple of lines. My face at that moment.

Dark Entity from Blood Omen 1 (my comic book)

To be honest, when I played the first game as a kid, I was absolutely convinced that this boss was actually a World Devourer from the Abyss. The atmosphere, the design — it all fit perfectly in my mind. I was genuinely terrified of it.

Then, years later, the second part of the series came out. It introduced its own lore and new characters, but the impressions from that first encounter never faded.

So, here is a different version of the story for you — the one that still lives in my memory.

I haven't posted anything here in quite a while. So, I'll drop a few old revised works and a little announcement of a fanfic I'm working on in a black-and-white version, the 'cheap and cheerful' kind. I'll finish it sometime, depending on a lot of factors, but the work is in progress. The style itself will be in the vein of the works I'm posting.
