i really do love that rou gets to be sparkly and dramatic and extra in such an unashamed way. people find his theatrics ridiculous, sure, but he doesn't let that dissuade him from enjoying sequins and sparkles and twirling on the ice. and the rest of the oinokami team doesn't shame him for it either!!! and koichi telling him he doesn't have to shoot like keiichi to win, but instead to incorporate his usual dramatic expressionate self into his hockey tactics and it WORKS and he scores his first real goal through it AGHHH it's so good. the self-expression, the way this boy knows exactly who he is and wants to be, and gets supported by his peers and succeeds through it. i lob him so much

Noda could have bothered with redesigning Koros lips. He's giving that ugly shape to characters who have light skinned but it looks much worse for characters with tan or darker skin. Noda please just make them thick lips.
