Isn't Beyonce just the most awe inspiring person in the world...! [ sighs wistfully ]
Wally doesn't know a thing about football. His uncle likes it, but being a sickly youth with no muscle mass and few stereotypically masculine interests, it wasn't a sport he had ever played. He hadn't really played sports period, or come to understand the complicated mechanics that made up a game where men tackled each other to the ground for a ball.
He did, however, understand Beyonce, and what talent he lacked in sports he made up for in confusedly watching the game until the real shining moment; the moment where the queen diva herself appeared. He'd been preparing for this.
Inhaler at the ready (just in case), the junior rose from his seat in his dorm room, belting out the lyrics alongside his idol in a truly awe inspiring-- and very loud-- performance considering his usual nature and volume.
"--SAY YOU'LL NEVER LET ME GO!"
...Followed by a massive coughing fit when it was all finally over, but it was certainly worth paying homage to the goddess herself.
Primadonna Buck★ (a ridiculous FP open)
His life briefly flashed before his eyes, seeing Wally reminded him of a ghost — just more alive, he supposed. When Buck finally realized that he wasn’t here to take him to heaven, he smiled and took a bow.
“He’s got good taste, heh.”
Tying his hair back up, he shut off the music and gestured for the green one to come inside, making sure the door was actually shut this time.
“Sup, Wally!! I thought you were dead, man!”
Thankfully not a ghost quite yet, Wally took the invitation in, stepping through the door with a nod. "I guess so! My cousin or his friends introduce him to a lot of popular music..." He himself didn't know much, although he had a liking for bubblegum pop, but oh well.
Not particularly unnerved by how easy it seemed to be for people to believe he was dead, he laughed a little, rocking back on his heels a bit while he glanced around the room. "Oh, no, I just got sick for a while and needed to go home. I'm okay now!" More or less, anyway.
"The school seems really... empty now though, doesn't it? Did something happen?" Maybe high schoolers had started going extinct in his absence.
Primadonna Buck★ (a ridiculous FP open)
Primadonna giiiirl, oh oh…..
Buck’s low voice made this song sound absolutely tragic, but he didn’t really care. A lot of students had been leaving the academy lately, and he was absolutely bored out of his mind. After re-arranging the dorm room for the fourth time, inventing two new secret alphabet codes, and memorizing the first page from some random book he found, Buck was at his wits end. So, he pulled down his red hair and began to channel his inner Marina Diamandis to alleviate how bored he was.
All I ever wanted was the woooorld…
He belted the words, sashaying around the room in time. Unfortunately for the sophmore, he had left the door wide open after carelessly tossing a pair of socks into the hallway that he didn’t feel like dealing with. And when the chorus hit, he noticed the person staring at him from the hallway an abruptly stopped.
“H—Hey!! Uh…I can…explain?”
Having recovered from a particularly bad case of pneumonia or some other such illness Wally had been unsurprisingly subjected to, the sickly youth had once again made a (not so) grand return to campus... Only to find it far more empty than he recalled it being. Apparently the majority of his friends and acquaintances had left while he was not-exactly dying.
He was on his way to his new dorm when he heard singing-- a vaguely familiar song, although somehow far sadder than he remembered. Intrigued, mostly by the possibility that someone may be deeply upset and in need of a comforting shoulder to cry on, he followed his ears to the source of such a sorrowful ballad--
Only to find Marina Diamandis reincarnated as a teenage boy "getting groovy" (as his uncle would say) in their dorm room. He then realized it was actually just Buck, a familiar acquaintance he'd met a couple times before.
Such a performance deserved applause!! -- which was exactly what Wally gave when his presence was noticed. "You're pretty good...! My uncle loves that song."
