Came up short on rent. Need help urgently.

I’ve been homeless for many months now. I had plans with a friend to get an apartment together and I did a fundraiser to help me get housed by March. Unfortunately, the friend abandoned our plans. I was able to get a job at the end of February and used what was raised + my first paycheck to put down a deposit on a room that’s a 30 minute walk to work.

I’m scheduled to move in on April 1st. Since I had to devote my entire first paycheck to the deposit I’ve come up short on my first month of rent which is $795. I received my second paycheck today and it’s just not enough. I’m $300 short right now. I will have enough on both of my paychecks to be able to afford this place, but I’m freaking out right now that I won’t have enough to even be able to move into this room. I’m so tired of being homeless.
