also haven't played the update yet because it's just a few scenes implemented and a whole lot of recession on farm produce and the cream bun job sigh.... even in dol the economy is not fairing well....

also, speaking of new world - I have absolutely not played it yet. but i hear there's a whole lot of content and introduced new npcs! so if you ever get burned out or bored with vanilla then you should probably give new world a chance :3

i havent seen anyone talking about it but i just found it today: theres a special scene during the ritual with gwylan if you choose to lure wolves for purging and you're the alpha of the wolf pack!

if you have gwylan use the bait on you rather than them, there's a chance you'll hear wolves howling when you run back to the shop*. if you're the alpha you can howl back and instead of having 2 wolves follow you to the shop you'll have 6, and gwylan will have special dialogue about it.

*note that if you're collared you won't get the wolf howling scene while running, but you can still get it if you're collared if you run ahead/fall behind and make gwylan drop the leash!

yes! i read it in the code a while back, and the end scene if gwylan is in heat was really hot. it's just so sad that i won't be getting that scene anytime soon because im too attached to my fox tf (and also because im not touching the black wolf storyline in my rian save lmao)

as for wren, it's currently only through blackjack where you can fuck them. unless there's a new update where vrel decided to finally implement wren as a LI but that's going to take ages.

one thing i immediately noticed is the lack of mention of security in avery's big ass mansion. and the security im talking about ain't the gate or the vault - it's security cameras, CCTV and whatever you call it. avery doesn't have any of those.

because if they did - then they would have known that PC was the fucker who replaced the bones, who painstakingly loosened the bolts in the display room, that the orphan they took in was the cause of everything wrong that has happened to them.

but they don't. and we probably know why. less evidence of their abuse and there wouldn't be a suspicion towards them if an orphan suddenly disappeared. avery's rich and there's no evidence of what they did to bite them back in the ass. sad thing is that it already happened.

of course the only evidence of avery's abuse is through the bruises and scars that PC got - but we only get a passing mention and even a warning from bailey and the brown fox.

Hey curious question but how do you make gwylan save you in the forest after breaking their rules(yes they have reappeared and we make up but I'm doing my best grinding their yearning cause the most fastest way to grind for yearning is to keep screaming at non con encounters at night in the forest, but apparently gwylan has become deaf and idk what to do unless this is a bug😭😭 )

question, which part of the forest are you loitering around anon? gwylan wouldn't hear you if you're close to the lake or deep in the forest (close to eden's cabin or the wolf cave), you need to stay closer if you want gwylan saving you to earn yearning. it's also a bonus if you have tfs that corresponded with the forest (wolf and fox tf iirc) where gwylan can hear you up to the deepest borders in the forest. i also recommend giving gwygwy plum pudding! it's their fav food that raises yearning and lust if you want, that should make it easier to make them fall for you more.

but also, if you're getting nonconned in a part of a forest where gwylan can definitely save you and they don't appear (assuming you tried this before and gwylan did save you) then it's probably rng being a bitch or just a plain ol' bug.

hi im the anon who asked about the upgrades and tsym, also i think my old old save (641 days💔) is bugged cause whenever i try to do the avery tower thing it just.. doesn't work but its fine i guess since i already started a new save a week ago, i already have most stuff maxxed out so it's fine i just need to do the antiques and special clothes and omfg grinding love for people BUT at least i have the transcendental learning and adaptive genes thing!!!! so I'm happy about that

and I'm not reaaaaally sure where to report it cause it's a dol+ save and to me their discord is kinda hard to navigate since i don't really use discord servers...

also oof, a 641 day saved getting bugged is the worst possible thing to happen anon. my condolences but also nice to hear that you made a new save and that you're having fun again! though that's really weird if that bugged save of yours was on vanilla dol because that shouldn't happen - but maybe something went wrong in the process (assuming it's an old save of an older version of the game) so that might explain the avery tower thing and wren not appearing.

and anon, i don't like the wraith- I LOVE THEM. you should have seen me in my prime (my other blog where i posted ivory wraith content so much circa 2024) and believe me when i say that i still love the wraith like a grieving widow. BUT ANYWAYYYYY, for the mirror wraith event it needs to be in December, i usually check the mirror before christmas because that's usually how it's triggered. you don't even need to see the schism event beforehand! so hopefully anon your current save hasn't passed december yet (or if it did, i hope you have a save before december ends)

hi idk if you know how to help but I've seen your little gwylan guides in the past so i thought to just ask

i recently found out that now with the new update there are 9 orphanage upgrades but i don't really know how to unlock the newer ones

i have the pepper spray lab, kitchen and the garden thingy i know that whitney has an upgrade too but i don't really want to romance them for it... what i can't figure out is what are the other upgrades and how to get them. i heard wren has an upgrade and that they appear in the smugglers pub at high love (even tho i personally never saw them and i have them at 100 love :/ ) but what are the other ones?? please please tell me if you know id really appreciate it!!!!

the four new ones that were added for the loft of clothes update are: sam, doren, great hawk and wren!

for Sam: you need to exactly have 45% love with them and you need to be at the park before 7am - especially when it's not raining, because Sam doesn't show up when it's raining. Progress a bit by chatting, feeding the ducks and taking a walk with Sam. The next time you interact with them the convo of Sam wanting to donate something to the orphanage will pop up! idk exactly at what love they'll bring it up (as all my saves have sam over 100% love) so just continue to interact with them everyday until you get the convo!

for Doren: idk if it's a perquisite to have their flat unlocked - but it seems like you'll still need it to really raise love with Doren. Now idk what love you need to have again, but somewhere around 50% and above should be enough. On how to trigger it, you need to drop by the park around weekend and it should be morning (im only saying this by memory because only one of my saves went through this yet) and you'll find Doren there where they set up a little library. You'll need 2,500 money for Doren's upgrade.

For Great Hawk: obviously you need to have unlocked the tower. and you just need to chill by the perch for an idea to strike you. it'll involve landry's help for this and a big cash of 5,000 (though money is the least of your concern lol). EDIT: apparently you also need to have the full harpy tf or it wouldn't do anything lmao

For Wren: basically you just need to unlock them in the smugglers pub and the option of talking about the loft will automatically show up - and im only talking because all my saves had wren over 100% love already. anon, you might need to report a bug if wren isn't showing up in your save even over 100% love, just a penny for your thoughts.

as for the old 5 orphanage upgrade it's: 3 for the loft (pepper spray lab, kitchen and whitney's - which i haven't unlocked yet lmao))) and 2 for the garden (greenhouse from alex and the spring from mason)

of course anon! there's nothing drastic that happened afterwards, it's just them mentioning pc's change of attitude towards avery!

The second screenshot is brown fox btw! All of this won't show when your pc has always been meek, but if your pc was forced to act meek by avery then this would pop up :0!

you know what i liked most after my pc is forced to act meek around avery? is that this act of ours is noticeable! i only know briar and brown fox who points it out - and it's very interesting when they do!

briar notices and had a smile that carried sadness in it. while brown fox states how they don't like how our attitude changed and says that pc's acting like avery is listening.

it's incredibly telling and touching, and also albeit concerning because how else would you feel when someone you know acted so differently because of somebody?

we already know brown fox's deal, but im still wondering why briar had that kind of reaction to the pc... so many possibilities with it.

i hate having to do the inevitable - having to kiss gwylan to progress with their storyline. like, im genuinely procrastinating in having to kiss them cuz god, i feel both second-hand embarrassment and guilt even though they're just a string of code lmao.

anyway, i still also have to finish the elk-scarred route for ria so that's another set of grinding for me! (even though im already getting sick of avery)
