A Midsummer Night’s Dream

- Shakespeare

I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,

Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,

Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,

With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine.

There sleeps Titania sometime of the night,

Lull’d in these flowers with dances and delight;

And there the snake throws her enamell’d skin,

Weed wide enough to wrap a fairy in.

And with the juice of this I’ll streak her eyes,

And make her full of hateful fantasies.

The beauty of a winter morning walk with my dogs. They get so excited seeing snow first thing in the morning—for them, it’s like the whole world changed overnight!

I wonder... 🤔 will they ever understand what really happened? ☃️

I set out from home to gather some wood for the fireplace. But because of yesterday’s snow, pretty much all the wood was still quite wet, and I couldn’t find anything useful. 🥲

But voilà—look what I found instead! Yummy acorns! What an unexpected delight! 🌰
