I'm rewatching Iron Lung. I don't know how I missed it, or how I've seen NO ONE bring it up, but there's a brief shot of Simon, about 12, standing in the center of a pile of corpse. He has blood on his hands.

If you look closely, THOSE ARE HIS BROTHERS. It's no wonder Father took an interest in him. LOOK AT WHAT HE WAS CAPABLE OF!! He was a CHILD HERE. It's no wonder why they call him, "The Butcher."
