Ace didn’t know what else to do. I mean, he is a normal teenage boy. Does he really compare to a crown prince , an heir of his kingdom, and one of the strongest mages in the whole twisted wonderland?
He was the housewarden of his dorm, and ace was just another card soldier.
He did think of giving up..but, if you think he’d be letting you go so easily for malleus, you’d be a fool! He’s still trying to get you, to be the one to make your heart beat faster. He wants to be the one you talk about so fondly and giggle because of..can’t you see how he has a scowl on his face everytime you bring up malleus? How he gets quite all of a sudden? He always makes jokes when you take longer to get ready to meet malleus. Was he jealous..? Huh? Of course not! Don’t be ridiculous, as if he’d get jealous over you. As if he wishes he was the one you get extra pretty for.
He wanted to hold you close, kiss you whenever he wanted, he wanted to be the reason why your heart beats so much. He wanted to be in every part of you. He loved you. And you should be able to see it too. How he always crashes at ramshackle, saying he and riddle got in a fight (they didn’t) , or how he pushed himself to sit next to you in lunch, how he hugs you tightly after a good grade or a win at the club, claiming it’s because he’s so happy. or how he sends you songs saying they remind him of you, but don’t think too much of it. But can’t you see that he’s the one who understands you most? You’ve known him longer.
So why can’t you see?
You belong with him !
Maybe your mind is too full of malleus. Babbling about how he’s your soulmate. He’s so perfect, so strong and cool..blah blah blah..he doesn’t care. Why would you talk about malleus to him anyway?
oh, how he wished you just woke up someday and realized what what you’re looking for the whole time was him! He’s the one who makes you laugh when you’re not in the mood, he knows all your favourite games and songs , he knows all your favourites snacks too! So, how could you not know ? He surely knows.

Lying on his bed with a sigh, staring at the ceiling quietly deep in thought. Deuce glanced at him, ace wasn’t usually that quiet..of course, he had his moments, but he was just too off lately. Ace would usually be a little bit more annoying, more teasing and loud. Then finally he spoke,
“I’ve been here all along, isn’t this unfair? I’ve had them for myself first..”
He doesn’t need reminders of how you don’t feel the same..
Did he do something wrong in his previous life, to end up like this? Were the sevens punishing him? Every time he talks with you, or when you two one of your stupid stuff that’d get him collared in no time, you’re always laughing, smiling like that, looking so cute…every time , he feels like a cupid just walked through, and shot him straight at the heart! His heart beats way faster than he’d like. So he always tried to brush it off, ruffling and ruining your hair , playfully pushing you away,
during your sleepovers , he sometimes lets you do and you attempt to do the heart around his eyes, he literally can’t think straight, his brain is empty.
With you so close to him like that, holding his face in your hand while you very carefully did his heart , and messed it up. Both literally and physically. The heart you drew was messy, and so was how his heart was not stable. Sure, the one you drew was super ugly. (It isn’t , he’s just like that) and he’d make jokes about it, but you won’t find him wiping it off.
Once you were done, he was still lost in the clouds, quiet and flustered. You were a bit confused,
“Ace? You good ?”
“Have you ever thought, that just maybe..you belong with me, and not him?”
You blinked at him, the eyeliner stilling in your hand.
“..huh?”

the idea of the boys yearning for you is so so wholesome, much more that they couldn’t see that you liked them back.
They, like you said , would probably find it in an after party, or maybe even after coming over to yours and you weren’t in the room. This could be different for many characters, say for example.
You have some of them, who would be caught off guard reading it. It’s not in a bad way...it’s just that they didn’t really expect you to like them back. But reading into your diary, just made their heart beat faster and made them more and more flustered. When you walked to the room, they’d try to play it off, like you catching them reading your diary and love talking about them was nothing. They try to act nonchalant, which words, but not for long since they can either be exposed by the nervousness of their words or the flush that was covering their face while they try and ask you out.
Choice is yours though, do you wanna go out with him?
While some of them in the other hand would be more on the amused side. So, you did like him back, huh? After reading your diary, he supposed it should’ve been obvious..but perhaps he was too caught in his feelings towards you and lovestruck to notice anything else.
You walking in the door should have made them a bit nervous, but the smug smile they had made YOU nervous instead. You saw your diary in their hand..oh, shit. You physically had to stop yourself from leaving, they aren’t gonna reject ya..are they?
“Hm..I’ve read through your diary a bit, you really do love me, don’t you?”

Well..he already thought that he didn’t have a chance with you. Why would you give a worm like him a chance anyway? He was too caught up in his own head with both his overbearing feelings for you, and the constant fear that you’d leave if you knew.
However, the fear didn’t stay for much longer. He caught a glimpse of your diary in your bag, and when he read through it a bit. Huh..this must’ve been a dream surely. Was malleus pulling some strings again..? But, that’s your writing, that’s your own interpretation of him..you really think like that of him..?
When you caught him, he immediately panicked and pushed your diary back. But you clearly saw him. And, even if you didn’t , you could tell by his hair.

But, it also wasn’t a hard guess given the matching rings you to had, the way he applied every rule that could get the queen of hearts and king of hearts closer together. (You’re his king of hearts, obviously.)
The way you have your own seat next to him at unbirthday parties, where the king of hearts would be sat, or that your own attire for unbirthday parties was just as elegant and beautiful as his. It’s only fitting for his king of hearts.
or how he let you off the hook when you broke some rules , which ace is so bitter about. And his bitterness lead to the very conversation you two had now.

“As if you’re one to talk! You never ever got your head cut off !"

You said casually, eating another piece of candy that deuce gave you. You were too nonchalant about it they genuinely thought you’re joking.
“Well that ain’t funny, I’ll tell you!”
“..? What’s funny about it? I thought it was pretty obvious, personally.”
You said , showing them your hand, the ring on it. They would’ve shrugged it off, saying that it’s a promise ring or a normal ring or something, but it looked pretty damn expensive..
“It dose look like the one riddle wears..”
“Right?!! I didn’t know you were engaged to housewarden riddle !”
“Lucky..that’s why you always get off trouble!”
You hummed , pulling your hand from him, eating another piece of candy. Maybe you are lucky, maybe you’re not. Who knows?

Jamil was just glad that you aren’t much of an airhead and risky thing as Kalim is, so he didn’t have to worry too much about, despite you being just as annoying sometimes.
Honestly, with how much Kalim is affectionate around you, basically never calling you with anything but pet names, you thought it’s obvious you two are together. Which is mostly the case. People assume you’re only dating, not engaged.
The other day, during lunch, you were quietly eating, deciding to keep your energy for later, until a voice cuts you off.
“Hey, I’m just noticing but..your ring looks hella expensive. Where’d you get it?”
You looked at ace, confused on why he was suddenly interested. Turns out deuce was thinking of a gift idea, and they were talking about Jewellery and that’s how it came up to your ring.
“Ah..I don’t really know, it was given to me.”
“Given to you?! Who gave that to ya? Ooh, must be a lover huh~”
“Well, yeah actually. It was from Kalim.”
The tables was silent just for a moment before they all looked confused.
“What do ya mean from Kalim?! That almost look like an engagement ring..”
Spoke epel, clearly surprised, and clearly not knowing he just guess it right, which was even more hilarious.

“Actually, it’s—“ “[name] and nii-san are engaged! That’s why they hang out a lot.”

Listen, your engagement with malleus would NOTTT be kept good secret ok. He doesn’t see why , and trust me, people wil know who is the spouse of THE malleus draconia. So for this fics sake we will say, you were his spouse , but you never was exposed to the public. So they knew he had a spouse, they just didn’t know who.
Anyway, today, the first years had a sleep over at ramshackle! Yay, fun right?
BZZTT!! WROONNGGG
“WHERE IS IT?! Oh my sevens..sevens..”
You yelled frantically as you moved pillows and looked under cushions and carpets and pillows, damn, damn it! Your ring! You lost it, you glanced at sebek, he could help you. He needed to!
“Sebek, don’t just stand there! If we don’t find the ring , we will get in some big trouble!”
You said, did sebek have anything to do with your own reckless behaviour? Nope. Did he have anything to do with your mistake of losing the ring when coming to ramshackle? Also no. But he couldn’t possibly say no to you, so he , with his usual loud mouth and manners started to look for the ring with you.
Because really, you can always get him in trouble with you. Easily. And actually, many times where lilia scolds you, it somehow ends up with him getting upset at you AND sebek. So really. It was easy.
And if you don’t find the ring..uueugh..sevens, malleus would get so upset. And who will have to deal with him?? You! Sigh..it’s the worst when he has one of his tantrums, cause he sometimes purposely give you a hard time. You suspect that he only dose it to get your attention, but you didn’t ask that yet.
“Damnit..”
“What’s gotten you so ruffled up over a ring, anyway? It’s not the first time you lose something.”
Ace spoke, and he somewhat regretted the words that left his mouth with your glare. Not the time huh..
“Because if I lose the ring, I MIGHT AS WELL LOSE MY HEAD. YOUD KNOW LOTS ABOUT THAT.”
“OKAY.”
Ace didn’t even know why he was catching strays, but he should’ve kept silent anyway.. you give up with a weak sob as you fall face first on the floor, with epel slightly patting your head as if trying to comfort you. Then deuce spoke,
“But seriously..is the ring that expensive? You’ve lost few expensive stuff before and didn’t care..so..”
Deuce tried his best to word it right, so he won’t get what ace got, you huffed as you sat up. Sebek hesitantly sat next to you. Clearly, he didn’t find the ring.
“It’s not about expensive. It’s my engagement ring. And if I lose it now out of any time else , malleus would get so upset.”
You said with a sigh, resting your cheek on your palm. You were too occupied with your thoughts, and was only cut off by yells from the other three..
“ENGAGED?!”
“MALLEUS?”
“YOURE GETTING MARRIED?!”
You glanced at these three and rolled your eyes , what’s so surprising, anyway ? Before you could say anything, sebek beat you to it of course, speaking loudly about how of course you’re engaged to malleus and speaking of your greatness..
A moment after though, Jack walked in and saw the..messy circle but decided not to comment.
“Uh, I found this ring on the floor, dose it belong to any of you?”
Your face immediately brightens as you looked at what Jack was holding, that’s..
“MY RING!”
“YOUR RING!”
You and sebek, spoke at the same time.

You were attending one of the unbirthday parties that were hosted in heartslabyul, and after that you had to go run some errands and finish the little work you had on you.
So with the few minutes you had left, riddle was walking with you alone through the rose maze, holding your hand in his as he smiled listening to you, he was so cute like this..a soft smile gracing his pretty face, looking at you like you’re his whole world. it almost made you wanna ditch everything and just stay with him, but you were more mature than that..it’s already late in the evening.
“I’ll have to leave now, rido! I’ll visit tomorrow with ace deuce, so I’ll see you then.”
“I’d prefer it if you stayed longer, but as you wish, my love.”
words cannot describe how you just wanted to kiss him and bite him—but you just leaned over and pressed a small kiss on his cheek, that you didn’t think much of. You completely forgot that you wore lipstick, and he didn’t even notice.
Eventually after you’ve left, he came out the maze and went to sit at his place, the moment he walked in and was seen by ace and cater, ace immediately laughed while cater looked shocked..but with that grin he usually had.
Riddle looked at them confused when he saw them suddenly start laughing when he came, What was with them? Have they gone mad? Riddle didn’t do anything ..
“Woah rids!!! That’s so brave of you to come out like that~ you two are tots adorable!”
“Wowww, housewarden! I didn’t think you’re a show off guy!”
Riddle looked at them confused and , even more annoyed. What are they talking about?? He really doesn’t get it.. ‘you two’? Did you do something in the rose maze while he wasn’t aware? But you didn’t play with his hair like usual, so it wasn’t messed up, you two didn’t even kiss like usual , so he by all means didn’t have anything on his lips or anything wrong with his appearance..so what’s brave and ‘show off’ about him?
“What are you two talking about..? I don’t recall having anything in my appearance that would make a big deal.”
A tired sigh was heard, as Trey was standing on the side . He already saw riddle when he came out, and he knew riddle would never go out with that..he knew it was an accident.
“Don’t worry about them, riddle. Just..you might wanna check your face, that’s all.”
Riddle saw cater shove his phone in his hand, camera app already opened giving him a mirror, and when he saw..
It was..there was..a kiss mark on his cheek. He gasped as he almost dropped caters phone.
“W-WHAT IS THAT?! THAT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!! Give me a tissue this instant!”
He yelled, although the flush on his face was saying otherwise , as ace kept teasing him.
God..you really just keep making him flustered, even when you’re not around.
He really won’t live this down for a while now..
After spending most of the day at leonas room, you had to take your leave to tend to your own matters, despite him asking demanding you to stay with him, because seriously, why did you even need to go? Just do whatever you wanna do later and just hang with him.
But as tempting as that sounds, you couldn’t have the luxury of staying or you won’t be hearing the end of it from Crowley, not that Leona would deal with it.
“Not really, I’ve got to go. I’ll see you tomorrow morning though!”
You said as you stood up from his bed, leaning down to press a small and thick kiss on the exposed part of his forehead. Eventually you left, and that’s when it all happened..
Leona didn’t really bother to do anything else, so he closed his eyes to take a nap. He heard the door open but he knew it wasn’t you because you just left, so he figured it was ruggie. No one else would have just walked in casually.
However..that laughed ruggie let out annoyed him a bit..he could tell it was targeted at him, he opened an eye as saw ruggie looking back at him with that smug and knowing look.
“The hell are you laughing at?”
“Oh, nothing Leona San! I just didn’t think you’d be that type of guy..shishishishh”
Leona furrowed his brows, that type of guy? The hell did he mean? The more Leona grew confused, the more he felt annoying..sitting up and glaring at ruggie, he spoke once more,
“You gonna spit it out or what? I don’t have all day.”
“Sorry, boss~ here! You could borrow my mirror!”
Ruggie said with a shiteating grin as he gave Leona his small mirror , Leona looked at his face, there was..nothing, tf?? He was about to turn to ruggie to get him out, till he noticed the lipstick. On his forehead. That small bit that was exposed.
Sevens..did you seriously have no where better to leave it on? He let out a big sigh as he shoved the mirror at ruggie hand and tried to wipe the lipstick and immediately slumping back, not bothering to check if it’s gone.
“Y’know it’s still there, right? What a cheesy guy—“
“Get the hell out ruggie.”
You came over to Octavinelle, more specifically azuls office for a small while. With that you left, and in the same time Jade walked in the same time.

Azul looked up at him, what thing? He would know that Jade wasn’t talking about him doing anything shady, because Jade was just as bad as him.
Jade noticing that Azul didn’t seem to pick up on what he meant, or, notice the lipstick for that matter, merely gave him one of his eerie smiles as he placed whatever paper he had brought for him.

Kalim, on the other hand, walked through the hallway with a happy hum after hanging out with you, he noticed some stares on his way, but it wasn’t really unusual, so he didn’t pay them annnyyyyyyy mind!

Kalim blinked, whatever you two do..? What did you two did? Thinking as hard as his brain allowed him, let’s see..you two hung out..played games..then chatted..then he had to leave , and hugged you, then..you kissed him..that’s it! Wait, was it about the kiss…?! How did jamil know?!
“..?! How’d you know they kissed me?! Are you a mind reader?!”
“that’s not what mind reading means. Look at your jaw, you have an obvious lipstick stain. You’ll be better off to clean it.”

Look, he found out later. After you placed a chaste kiss on him, a small smudge seemed to catch on his cheek, but you didn’t pick up on it , and somehow, neither did he despite the time he picked up a mirror throughout the day.
He was talking to epel, something about his behaviour..

Epel looked at him once more, as if he was about to speak, but hesitated, and vil waited for him to get the words out.

Vil blinked for a moment, a kiss? He just checked his mirror , how did he even miss it..?! Or was epel pulling a prank? He picked up his mirror and looked, and once he turned his face slightly to the side, he saw it..it was faint, really.
Seems your lipstick wasn’t the strongest out there, huh..he let out a sigh, now..how did that happen, and in front of no other than epel? Alas, he still tried to act like he wasn’t embarrassed or anything.

Standing up, you walked to vil and grabbed his face, kissing his lips the second he turned around, the moment you pulled away, you placed several kisses on his face.

“I think they’re lying..this isn’t smudges proof at all. But it’s a good shade!”
You said , with a smug grin as you looked at his face that was smudged in lipstick, and you could tell by the mess on his face that your own lipstick was smudged too.
He went to the bathroom, apparently he had to take them off..despite the content smile he had while getting so many kisses..so much for kissing you back and blushing. Is he trying to act nonchalant?
But just as you removed the smudge on your face and applied lipstick once more, rook came in with his usual smile, that seemed to widen as he saw your new makeup look.

The conversation ended with this, and after a moment you got up with a giggle, getting dressed and ready. Walking down the stairs and hallways, servants working quietly , no one really stopped or asked where you’re going or anything,, no one usually cared which you’re glad for, hence why you flinched out of surprise due to the voice stopping you.
“Where are you going to?”
looking at who it was, ah..your father..he was working in the living room today it seems, that’s why he saw you..having paper work and documents all around him,

And eventually, hours passed, and the sun began to set down. Somewhere along these lines, you both fell asleep. In the living room couch, with him holding you as the movie kept going.

You groaned, looking around you as you randomly jolted up, it was dark already..you wanted to close your eyes and keep sleeping in his arms, since his grip wasn’t flattering anyway, you glanced up at him, and for a moment, you’d rather live like this for the rest your life..waking up in his arms, sleeping with him, living in the same warm house, eating together and going out..
