my sister is so cute "im gonna eat noodles is it okay if i sit next to you?" like yes of course thats fine "i'll put the radio on" you didnt have to but i appreciate that so much
It's Hell..
Neurotypicals will make the loudest schloppiest eating sounds you’ve ever heard and wonder why you can’t sit next to them while they eat, this post was brought to you by misophonia and autism
“Respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer serves you, grows you, or makes you happy.”
— Robert Tew (via amargedom)
no offense but misophonic people deserve so much credit just for existing & staying alive ,, if ur reading this & u have misophonia or any kind of sound sensitivity issue that the world just doesnt respect im high fiving u through the screen rn
Blink and you’re twenty-eight, and everyone else is now a mile down the road, and you’re still trying to find it, and the irony is hardly lost on you that in wanting to live, to learn, to find yourself, you’ve gotten lost.

Misophonia: this visual is associated with bad sounds
Misophonia: we should react to that too
Misophonia: it's a bad sight
Me: why
Me: pls no
Misophonia: AHHH A WIGGLING PENCIL FREAK OUT
Me: AHHH
The worst about misophonia is that you know that the people who are making triggering sounds aren’t doing anything wrong. You know that it’s insane to get angry with someone because they are just breathing. You know that is not logical to argue with someone who are just eating an apple. You know that the problem is on you. But anyway you can’t stop the feeling. You can’t stifle the hate that is growing on your chest, you can’t put out the anger that is burning you alive. You. Just. Can’t. Stop. And it makes you feel so stupid, so weak, and so insupportable… this may be the one of the worst feeling at all.
Misophonia is VERY real and painful. But it does not make you a bad person.
