Been in a DC Super Hero Girls mood recently.

Don’t know if this has been posted, but it looks like there’s no more EAH magazine.
These are far more exhausting to make than they look!

Hey Dolly Brie I am trying to be Madeline hatter for Halloween and I ran across your blog.I'm curious if you bought your costume and where? or made it your self.Tania (14032385842)
Hello, I make all my costumes, including Maddie. It’s a pretty time consuming dress to put together, but not terribly difficult to construct. I think what makes most Ever After High costumes challenging is getting the right prints on the fabrics. Ignoring the patterns Maddie’s dress is pretty basic, the skirts are all gathered rectangles, which are super easy to sew. If you decide to make it yourself and aren’t that familiar with sewing, look for a pattern with a bodice you like and layer a bunch of dirndl skirts onto it. I have a blog post about how I put the gold pattern on the fabric here . And I sell the fabric I used for the stripes on my Spoonflower. I hope that helps, good luck with your Halloween costume~
Do you take commissions?
Hi, I don’t take commissions for character cosplay shoes. That’s why I put all the how to’s up on my blog: http://dollybrie.blogspot.com/. You can probably alter and combine the steps to come up with a way to make your shoes. Though if there is something specific you would like to see done, you can make a request on the request page. If you want shoes for a wedding or other special occasion I do take commissions for those, but they are all original designs, and can be quite pricey.
The minis are so scary cute, I had to come up with a way to take them everywhere!
