It seems that Clive’s time-travel powers have fucked up once again. You have no idea where you ended up, but it’s certainly not the same place as them. They will find you eventually, as they always do, so you could just enjoy your surroundings, which appear to be… Oh my! A forest! You haven’t seen something like this in years.
You’re just about ready to explore the area when you notice signs of movement not far from your position. A few seconds more, and there’s a monster of sorts in your view. Is that… A giant rat?
There are things like that here, too? Will you never be able to escape hellish beasts out for your blood? At least this one probably isn’t part of a sentient hive-mind hellbent on stealing your soul. You’re sure it wants to kill you anyway, though. How annoying!
☄—“…”
Yeah. You’re just gonna… Stay hidden and hope it doesn’t see you at all. What a time to be unarmed. Help.
Dolon had been walking through this forest for quite some time now, was there something wrong with his map..? He turned it in his hands, squinting a bit at it. Would he have to fly above the trees to see where he was... Ah, but it was never guaranteed that his wings agreed with him! Sometimes he lifted from the ground, sometimes he didn’t...
The devil stopped in his tracks when he heard the rustling on leaves a bit away, and he lowered the map and rolled it up and into his bag. Was there a monster nearby..? Maybe he could sneak past it... Even if he was a much more capable fighter than he used to be, it didn’t mean that he wanted to fight.
Aaah wait...
Was that a human..? He thought he caught the glimpse of one, and they seemed to be hiding from whatever had showed up. Well! Maybe he could help out.
“Excuse me, are you lost..?” The devil asked in a low voice as he approached the human, curiosity shining in his eyes as he got closer. What a weird outfit they were wearing..
