Aaand let's turn to the fact that Tempest's father was an artist. You wanna say that it didn't affect him in any way? I think he should at least have some kind of ugly graffiti tag or a habit to doodle on the margins of notes. Or maybe he even tried to learn the basics, but then he'd quit, like he did with the guitar. Actually he seems to be the epitome of a "jack of all trades, but master of none."

been thinking about where fillers could be putten in the original storyline, and i can't get rid of thought that the yellow pages is literally the only clue about the location of Warren's apartment. like...What if it hadn't been there?

Would Reach have gone looking for another phone booths? Would he wait for another flashback in hope of getting more information? Would he decide to storm the police department alone, because that's where the address certainly should be?

Not making AU out of it would be just crime!

He doesn't have a clear objective anymore. No place to return to (well, except for the station). Now the corporation doesn't need him to do his job. it wants him on the operating table to be studied and these studies shurely wouldn't be used for good deeds. He's lost. The desire to mend or at least to stop all the damage R.E.A.C.H caused and the assumption that there will be something in the creator's apartment that will help him in this is the only thing he has left.

Matriarch and Ironwood made it clear that Reach's attempts to fix his predicament were drawing too much attention. Either you sit quietly and don't stick out, or you leave. But Reach has nowhere else to go now. And there's no need to hurry anymore. Therefore, staying at the station and waiting for new variables to appear in the equation seems to be the most sensible solution. Reach will be stuck in human skin much longer than originally planned. With everyone around knowing what he actually is. He now has time to stop and fully comprehend all shit that happened to him and damn this would be one hell of a ride.

Reach could be part of the council in a long shot if you think of it. His cold-headedness and analytical skills could be a good use there. God knows, his guilty conscience just wouldn't let him slacking around and do nothing to help people he have harmed.

Got a bit carried away with a card drafts. The idea with tarot was hunting me for a while. The thing is fitting with Veronica's character pretty good by me. I think she could have an incomplete deck (nobody knows that it's not full), but she would have used it more pragmatically. Like not in a usual magic-prediction way, but more like in giving-people-hope way. And that's why there would be no cards with negative meaning in it.

Also Rich's habit of striking that scared kitten ahhh pose every time the bad guys show up makes me giggle
