â  She was observing the painting when someone aproached to do the very same, she supposed, so she didnât bother turning her attention from the piece in front of her. Until he started mumbling something and she wondered if he was talking to himself or to her. After struggling internally if she should question him or let him be, her curiosity got the best fover her shyness and she spoke up. And she couldnât be more surprised or pleased with what she got from him. A rant. A very intriguing, that hit her personally, for being an artist herself.  She took a deep breathe, her mind racing in search for an answer. âYes and no. I mean, most of us do it to express feelings and experiences that are part of us. Provoque emotions and imortalize it because our existence is limited. I think the museum is just a way to reach our apex, since itâs the first place people look when in search of art. I think.â
She had no idea if her logic made sense but it was the best she could do in so little time for reflection. She looked at him and smiled before replying to his next flow of questions. Much more casual then the first ones. Looking around the gallery â I actually am. And maybe people are too confused, emotioned, or donât know how to verbalize their thoughts about what they are seeingâ
He had no idea that he would be getting such an impassioned reply but he listened intently to every word from the girl. There were no wrong answers when it came to art, he could listen to people talk about all forms for hours and days. This girl seemed to know what she was talking about too. And she seemed to have thought about such a topic before too, it only made the smile on his face widen and he nodded along with her. "I would rather be immortalized by my artwork than by children, to be honest," he laughed, even though it was something he tried not to think about if he could help it. Knowing the future was a buzzkill.
His head tilted at the thought of being too emotional to speak, and he couldn't remember a time when that was even a possibility for him. "I always just wondered why they whispered... Luckily or unluckily for you though, I never shut up. I'm Jinho," he offered a hand to greet the girl he just bombarded with questions. "From what I gather it seems like you want to be immortalized with me. And them. What do you think of this painting?" He motioned to the piece in front of him, abstract with blocks of neon colors and twisted lines over them. "This the kind of stuff you do?"
âI recognize that you have reached a decision, but given that it is a stupid ass decision I have elected to ignore itâ

"Come on, it's not stupid. I'll show mine if you show me yours," he wagged his eyebrows lewdly before patting his lap with his sketchpad. If there was anything that excited him as much as the obvious, it was fellow artists. He could never critique them, he could never tease. He was far too sensitive about his own artwork to do such a thing. But when he saw someone else with a sketchbook like his own then he had to involve himself with them. Even if it was a stranger at a bus stop. A stranger who didn't look like they belonged at the bus stop but alas it was fate and Jinho was destined to annoy the poor woman.
He scooted closer on the bench after he asked to see the woman's sketches and began to show his own pages. "I'm working on hands, you see. I'm not really big on drawing people just yet. At least-" he never drew people when he was sober but he didn't say that. "I think it's the knuckles that fuck me up. They always look too big and cartoonish... I want them to be more realistic. But practice makes perfect! Now what kind of stuff do you draw?"
People should do more âmeet uglyâ and less âmeet cuteâ. For example.
âI broke your nose at a mosh pitâ AU
âI hit you with my car and was the only one to visit you in the hospitalâ AU
âYou were chased by the cops, got in my car and just yelled âDrive!ââ AU

There was a reason Jinho hated these high end and expensive clubs. They always seemed to be filled with pretentious snobs who loved to display their money. He had no idea why his dealer would want to meet at such an upscale kind of place, but he didn't question anything. He just followed his vices. He sighed at his spot at the bar, the counter more expensive than his entire loft. It wasn't Jinho's first time in places like this, his parents could probably buy this building and every other one on the block yet he dressed like their distant homeless nephew. His leather jacket was well worn and he was sure that if he wasn't wearing his new jeans he wouldn't be allowed through the door.
"Fuck, the bartender wont even look at me. Please try to get him or I'm hopping over the counter," he pleaded with the shorter stranger, who didn't seem very cooperative when he asked him to wave the bartender over. The other man didn't seem to have any troubles in a place like this, he seemed to fight right in and normally Jinho had no issues molding into his surroundings but his thoughts were elsewhere and he was growing more impatient by the second.
âWhatâs with the box?â
Random Sentence Starters | Accepting
He walked into the bookshop with a large smile on his face, like Santa Claus greeting children with gifts. But instead of wrapped presents he was holding a dirty box he found outside on the way over to see his friend. Jinho walked right to the counter where Moonchul would surely be but he was momentarily surprised by the voice from between the bookcases. He even jumped a little, protecting the box as he did so. "Hiding from your most loyal customer, Moony?" He chuckled and turned to walk towards him. For a moment he stilled, tempted to lean against the bookcase but he was cautious not to be scolded this time. Sometimes the other man was intimidating. Sometimes.
Without waiting for the other to ask him again, Jinho opened the lid of the box and moved it closer for Moonchul to inspect the contents. Two slightly dirty kittens, curled up against each other and sleeping. "If people can't handle more cats they should get them neutered..." he wrinkled his nose in disdain, he'd always have a softer spot for animals than people. Times like these made Jinho feel like a hero though, he didn't even want to think about what would have happened to them if he didn't find them first. "Looking for a new roommate? I'm kind of fond of the grey one myself though. Kind of fond of both of them. You know what, nevermind. They're both mine."
âI could do that, but could doesnât mean would.â

Jinho wanted to bang his head against the desk at the comment. This little shit. He was tempted to grab his laptop and hit the guy in the shoulder but he inhaled deeply and allowed himself a few moments to settle down. "Just get the damn virus out of my computer. My friend said you were good at shit like that. And you don't need to ask how it got there, we both know the answer," he brought his fingers to pinch the bridge of his nose and waited a beat before continuing. "It's porn, okay?!" he half cried out in the crowded cafe, ignoring the looks the pair would get. It wouldn't be the first time Jinho approached a stranger and embarrassed them in public.
"Listen," he began, scooting in closer to the boy and shooting him an apologetic smile. "Normally I don't care about this. I'd just find another computer. But my art history paper is on there and I worked on it the entire summer," he sighed, it was the only project he didn't cheat on or pay someone to do. "Please. I'll pay you to get my computer to work. However much it takes. I'm desperate."
âI donât believe you.â

He huffed and wrapped his arms around his knees, staring off into the water. The beach was mostly deserted for the day, it was getting darker and there was finally a cool breeze. The waves were starting to crash at the shore and Jinho found himself mesmerized by them. By the sound, by the smell, by the way the sand trembled beneath him. He knew nothing good would come of him and the water, but he still loved it. He still found himself drawn back to the beach, this time with a young girl sitting beside him on the sand. He snorted at her words and quickly got out of his head.
"I really mean it. My friend went skinny dipping here with his girlfriend and something bit his toe off. The middle one too. Now he never wears sandals. It's a shame, if you're into feet stuff," he sighed and turned his attention fully to the girl. "Have you ever been in the water at night? Are you even capable of breaking that kind of rule?" The smile on his face was growing into a much daring one and he even began to kick off his boots. As long as he didn't go that deep into the water he would be safe. After all, Jinho refused to live his life in fear.
Henry Rollins, The Portable Henry Rollins
âYou shouldnât be trusted with small children, should you?â

He sat on top of the picnic table of the park, sketchpad on his lap as he draws and a cigarette between his lips. There are children laughing behind him, as to be expected with the playground being there. Jinho didn't grow up with people his own age. His parents barely had the patience to deal with one kid, they weren't going to let a litter mess up their home. Part of him was thankful for that. He never had to learn how to share or fight for attention. Ashes fall onto the paper and he shifted to tap the cigarette on over the table. A ball whirled over his shoulder and he's too frozen to move for a few moments.
Part of him wants to take the ball and run. Annoyance is written over his expression but the girl in front of him makes him reconsider those actions. Her next words don't come as a surprise and Jinho can't help but roll his eyes as he puts out the cigarette on the side of his boot. "Probably not but none of them are mine. Yours?" he asked, tossing the ball over his shoulder without looking or caring about the direction. He hoped there would never be a smaller version of himself out there. It would just be cruel.
"Quit whining."

The day had started on a sour note, but he woke up aching. And craving. Nothing seemed to be going his way from the moment his eyes snapped open and he wished he could have just stayed in bed the entire day because he hated showing anyone that he was in a bad mood. But it was hard to hide his annoyance when he wasn't allowed on the bus for not having a pass or his wallet. A series of curses escaped him and he suddenly stopped at the young voice telling him to quit whining.
"Fuck off-" he began, turning around and stilling when he saw who spoke to him. He didn't expect the girl to be that young. Too bad she caught him on a bad day. "You lost, little girl?" he tilted his head and took a step closer. There was nothing he hated more than being told what to do. His entire childhood was spent getting what he wanted. He felt like the girl probably had thick skin anyways, he could just tell when people were similar to him. He wasn't aiming to make her cry anyways. It was really all wrong place, wrong time.

Weâre the ones who really suffer though.
"What did you say?"

He blinked at the voice beside him, dragged out of his thoughts and brought back to where he was standing. In the art museum, standing in front of a piece he wasn't really paying much attention to but he was still murmuring about something he couldn't remember. He tilted his head over towards the girl and offered her a smile, so he didn't come off as a complete creep. "Do you think getting your stuff showcased at a museum like this is the pinnacle for an artist? What we should strive for? Like actors and their awards. They do claim be to be artists too," he began to ramble now, but she did open the gates for the verbal flood he was about to unleash. Part of him wanted to pity her.
"You having a good time?" he asked, turning away from the painting now to look more fully at the girl. She was rather pretty and he was always drawn to pretty things. "It's kind of quiet in here today," he looked around the gallery. "Do you ever wonder why people are so quiet in museums in the first place?" Jinho shrugged a little, shifting where he stood and hoisting his backpack a little more over his shoulder.
