the thing is that I'm not interested in founding my sense of self on other people's failure to understand really simple things about me. Not only does that mean that my identity disappears if the oppression is actually resolved, but building an identity on others' perceptions and standards is just not a truly healthy way to live. Disgust towards me for being a lesbian is the personal failing of others, not who I am.

I was irritated by people trying to cause a crush after the concert, and chainsmoking in the middle of a non-moving crowd, but nobody blocked my whole view trying to watch the show through their phone or had a fullblown autistic meltdown ehile their carer pretended not to notice. gf was a bit sad about not being further forward at Glasgow, but we had friends who were nearer to the front and were dealing with people just sitting down in the pit, fully grown men forcing them to be cried and trauma dumped on for the whole set.... there seemed to be more fans who've been outside before at Wembley
