"I actually just started volunteering at the pet adoption center. There’s so many animals that need good homes. I just brought home a greyhound puppy named Loki for Aeden and I. I bet you could find the perfect pet for you too," he told her. 

Kieren frowned. “I was pretty reckless back then. Definitely not my best self. I wouldn’t go back and do it again, to be honest,” he admitted. 

"I can put together a playlist for you," He offered. "If you want."

 "Yeah? Well, then I trust your judgement. I'd love to see what you pick out," Rosin smiled and then shrugged her shoulders. "Yeah, I get that...there's a lot of things in my past I wouldn't go back and do again either. Guess the grass looks greener, ya know?"

"Really? I..sure, why not? I'd like that, Kieran," She said warmly.

It was late afternoon, and RJ was bored stiff. All he’d done today was finally get around to having the photos that he took at the Halloween bonfire developed, and now he was laid on his bed, leafing through the photos. There wasn’t a single photo that didn’t make him grin like an idiot, and getting an idea, he found some blue-tack and decided to make a wall collage out of the photos. Three of them went in the centre - the ones of Jem daning, him and V, and him and Mack - while the others were placed around those.

Once all the photos were up, he noticed that some of the photos actually turned out pretty nice. He looked to his desk and saw that there were still a couple disposable cameras left from that night, as he’d ended up buying about five, just incase he’d ended up taking loads of pictures. He looked out the window, and seeing the sun was on it’s way down, decided to go out and try and get some photos of the island before it got too dark. He put the cameras into a satchel, put it over his shoulder and headed out the door.

He’d been walking for a while, managing to have taken a couple (what he thought was) decent photos. As he walked past a tree, he noticed a large, colourful butterfly perched daintily on a tree branch. Being as silent as he could, he took a few steps back, dropped down to one knee, carefully aimed the camera, but just as he was about to take the photo, he heard branches snapping and bushes rustling behind him. “Who’s there?” he called, turning on the spot and looking towards the noise. He glanced over his shoulder and saw the butterfly flying away. ‘Damn,' he thought before looking back to where the noise had come from.

Rosin  really hadn't been paying any attention to where she was going. She found herself isolating herself more and more. She'd never been in a place quite like this where everyone was so nice. It worried her. She worried about her temper, about hurting people. 

She sighed through her nose, and rubbed the back of her head. Still, it wasn't any fun being alone, and she wished that she'd been allowed to keep her camera. It'd been her mother's camera...the last thing she had of hers, but with the nature of her arrest it had been deemed evidence of some sort and filed away. 

She heard a voice as she pushed through some branches and blinked, seeing RJ there. "It's just me, ah, Rose," She said, and offered a small wave before her brow crinkled. "What are you doing?"

"Maybe. I mean, it couldn’t hurt, right? What kind do you want?" He asked her. 

They were fun. For awhile. “I mean, I love London and the parties are insane, but it’s been good to get away from that whole scene.” The parties had always been his distraction from himself, but truthfully he had gotten to the point where the person he was at those parties was a person he hated. 

"Well, 80s music is pretty fun. I really enjoy "We Built This City" by Jefferson Starship," he told her, adding that, "I won’t lie. Punk music is an acquired taste, but it really does grow on you."

 "I've always liked animals...maybe a dog or a cat...I would like that.." She admitted with a smile.

"I guess it would be pretty crazy. I never really got a chance to do anything like that. I always want to have fun and be...wild, but I couldn't possibly do that now," Not with her temper, if Rose tried anything like that she could really end up hurting someone.

"Yeah? Well, I'd still like to hear some," She chuckled with a shrug.

Something that Grayson could never grow used to, no matter how many years he’d roamed this earth, was the inability to sleep. Before he died, sleeping was near and dear to his heart and he hit the sheets as soon as the sun met the horizon and slipped below it. Tonight he was restless, searching his cabin aimlessly for something to do— some way to entertain himself.

"Oh, fuck it." the green-haired boy complained under his breath, not bothering to open the door as he shifted to his intangible self and floated right through it. There were many places to go, but he decided on the dining hall. Maybe someone was there, but maybe not. Either way, he wanted to get out of the confinement of his dusty room. Grayson glided through the entrance and into the brightly lit dining hall. Nobody was around that he could see, and he wasn’t going to hunt every separate room to see. The boy released a soft breath and within a blink of an eye reversed to his tangible, human body. A platter of cookies sat unscathed upon one of the tables, and Grayson decided to help himself to one, even though he couldn’t use it for sustenance. Right as he was about to sit down, he heard a loud clatter from behind him. "Who is it?" he asked, startled, and turned to look.

Rose had been hungry and goodness knows she couldn't cook to save her life. She had padded to the dining hall, but tripped over something in the dark creating a loud noise. She growled and kicked whatever it was away when a voice turned her around. Green hair...that was new. 

The red head walked over and pointed at the platter of cookies, "You gonna eat all those?"

There was a unicorn that had been practically begging for Vanity Fair to ride her. Today, it was finally the ivory beauty’s turn. Along V’s ride, she came across that sweet scarlet girl who’d saved her that night in the woods. she gently halted the unicorn.

"Rose!" She said, happily. "How are you today?" She asked with a smile, fingers combing through the unicorn’s white mane.

"Is..is that a unicorn, V?" She stammered, her eyes growing wide. She couldn't believe it.  "I...wow.." She couldn't take her eyes off the pale equine.

Shit I need some air. I can't stay cooped up like this forever!

"I dunno, …I think there’s maybe something like that in the bathroom cabinet," he said. He disappeared for a moment, returning with a pink bottle in his hand. "Is this it?" he asked, holding the bottle up close to his face so he could read the information. "How much should I drink?"

Rose bobbed her head, "That's it. There's should be a line on the inside of the cap. I think you take two capfuls for now," Rose said.

"Come wit me, I gotchu." Jem said with a smirk.

Rose smiled back and grabbed the other's elbow as she padded beside him,  "I haven't seen you in a while. How have you been, Jem?"

RJ followed her into the room, smiling as he saw Rose’s reaction. “Not always - at night, it gets darker,” he joked. He pointed over to the counters with trays filled with almost every type of food under the sun. “Everything’s over there: food, plates, cutlery. Just take your pick.”

"Ha ha," She smirked at his smart remark and gave his shoulder a little push, her eyes bright. She swung her eyes to the numerous buffets and felt her stomach rumble. "Shit...I swear I've died and gone to heaven," She murmured and padded over to the first buffet line.

"It tasted okay when I was eating it. Maybe it was a little out of date too, or something. I dunno." RJ shrugged at her question. "No chance you’ve got a magic wand to wave and make me feel better?" he asked hopefully.

"it happens, RJ," She said, smiling weakly. "I don't have a magic wand...but I can stay with you until you feel better. Dont' suppose there's any pepto bismol or anything on this island.

RJ sniggered as Rose’s bump made him stumble forward slightly, but he kept his balance, and grinned over his shoulder to her. “Oh, in that case there’ll definitely be something there for you,” he assured her. As they reached the hall, RJ pulled the door open and held it for Rose. “After you,” he smiled, waving his arm for her to enter.

Rose beamed and trotted through the door. She was greeted by a myraid of wonderful warm smells. "Wow...it smells amazing in here," She looked at RJ. "Is it always like this?"

"I had a garlic chicken kiev last night. I think it might’ve been a bit undercooked."

 "You should be careful about that stuff...' Her brows came together as she approached the young man. "I mean I can't cook for shit, but I know undercooking is bad...it's why I usually burn stuff. Can I do anything to help?"

"I really don’t feel very well. I think I ate something bad."

"RJ? What do you think you ate?"

"Well, what sorts of food do you like?" RJ asked, knowing the canteen was usually pretty well stocked. "They've got quite a range of stuff, so I'd be quite surprised if there wasn't at least one thing there that you liked." The hall was coming into sight now, but he couldn't see anyone around. Must've missed the rush.

 "I'm not a picky person. I've been blessed with an iron stomach," She laughed, and bumped her shoulder against his in a friendly fashion as they walked. "but I always like italian food,"

You know what? I'm going to try and catch a fish. I mean...why the hell not? Anyone want to give it a go with me?

"I tink anyting’s wort de ol’ college try."

 "Hey, if it keeps me from blowing up at people, I'm game," Rosin ginned. "Hook me up, Jem,"

 "I should have known," Rosin chuckled. "I thought maybe they'd help me...what do you think, Jem?"
