I suppose that all depends on how you look at it. If we were all out in the big, bad world right now, it would be our bosses dictating our schedules. Even if we’re lucky enough to be our own bosses...It’s clients, or employees, or company needs dictating it. Freedom is an illusion, if you ask me. Not that you did, which I do realize but have simply chosen not to give care to in this moment. You can consider it that, if you’d like. You can ask whatever you’d like, but I make no guarantees I’ll answer. In this case, my family is adamant that I stay here until I find a Claim. The unfortunate part is, I have yet to meet anyone even close to my standards. So, looks like it’s the long haul for me. There is a distinction, I’ll give you that. Just for clarity’s purpose, are you saying you don’t want to find a Claim? I usually am, if that helps.

Now that’s a bleak outlook. As a lifelong fighter for control over my own life I have to hope that isn’t true, or I’d have to say none of this is worth it. Fair enough. Ah, I see. Wouldn’t they think you’re more likely to find a claim in a bigger pool of people if you haven’t thus far? I’m not looking for either result, to be honest. There’s not much of that pressure on me, as long as the claim is proper, which can mean a myriad of things. If I happen to find a sub that fits, that’s fine with me, but I also haven’t so far had the experience.

I woudn’t say it’s bleak. More like it’s realistic. It sucks, but remaining blind to facts only sets you up for failure. At least recognizing it means you have the potential to do something about it. Know thine enemy. One would think, but logic hasn’t always been their strong suit. That, and the fact that I have siblings here. Someone has to look out for them. That’s an interesting position to find yourself in. Not unlike what I might expect but still not something you hear on the regular.

I doubt you’re the only one feeling that way, but doesn’t life run on schedules? Good, at least I’ve done my good deed for the month, I’m glad to have that out of the way. I’m going into my fifth year here, so I’ll have to say yes. At least, longer than I wanted to be. And, with no end in sight. Let’s hope you have better luck. But, being a Clarington, I’m sure you will. It looks that way already.

It always is, as if we don’t have enough to do. You’re new, have fun with that. In response to your question, it depends on what kind of gym you’re looking for. We have a weight room and a gymnasium on campus. There is a larger gym in town, more in line with what most people mean when they ask about a gym.
