Day #1

And so it begins!

Donny and Daddy, playing all day. Doing stupid shit while mommy’s away.

I can’t tell you just how excited I am to have the next four weeks with you.  It was so hard to get out of bed each morning for the past three months and head off to work knowing that you were home with mom.  I am so thankful to have this opportunity.

I’m not sure what to expect the next four weeks.  I’ve got all these plans in my head, but if there’s one thing I say to your mom every day it’s that there’s no planning your schedule.

One thing that was great about this morning was that you woke up about 6am for a bottle (very typical these days) and you would not go back to sleep after (not so typical).  I chalk it up to the fact you wanted to see mom off on her first day of work.  Caddy (our dog) was up too (very atypical)!

Well, we’ve got 28 days together and I can’t wait to see what kind of trouble we can get into!
