My name's Donovan Brayer, and I'm from Germany... specifically 1920s Germany, which is why my accent is almost gone.  I'm a centaur, which may be hard to believe, but I've learned to deal with the magic that comes from it. Also, I've seen some rough shit, so maybe you shouldn't mess with me.

I don’t—I don’t mean to be rude or insensitive or anything, because I understand that it’s a very personal subject for you, but, uh… In my experience, I guess, one bad guy being stopped doesn’t stop all of them. Like, in the comic books, there’s always someone new for the superheroes to battle even though they’ve defeated a bunch of villains before, and I know that’s all just made up, but, I mean… It’s the most realistic part of the books.

Look, man, the world’s gonna do what the world’s gonna do. Even if someone found a way to stop the next genocide or whatever, it would just happen some other time in some other way. There’s always going to be bad people and death and war and hate, no matter what anyone does about it. We can’t stop it, so you just have to learn to live with it.
