According to a new interview with Oda, he mentions that the Wano Arc is 1-2 years away and that Ace will be playing a role in the story of Wano. This translates to a few things.

This means it’s going to be a 1-2 year wait before we see the rest of the Straw Hats and Law.

But it also means that the Whole Cake Island arc still has a fair amount of content to go through. We’re so blessed.

AND ACE IS GOING TO BE A PART OF THE WANO NARRATIVE I’M CRYING.

Little fun fact: it was even mentioned that Ace went to the Wano Country! (yes, I’ve been rewatching OP again). This was during the Marine Ford arc, so Oda has planned that Ace will take a part of this arc for quite a while?
