charlant-leroux:
“Is that right? That sounds terribly funny.” Charlant laughed with a little shake of his head, as if to tell himself that she was wrong. She had to be wrong. Talking to himself? Narrating a story? What an odd thing to do. Surely he wouldn’t be that far gone to talk to himself in such a way? In truth he did know it was there, but to him it felt like the voice inside ones head. The minor voice that thinks through thoughts, but perhaps not. It was comforting to him however and usually people didn’t question what helped them. “Let us hope it doesn’t come to that then. It’d be a shame, wouldn’t it?” Charlant lowered his gaze at her wink, pink softening his cheeks. “… Oh… That’s so wonderful of you to say. Amazing, really. Highlight?” The blonde couldn’t quite cope with that level of praise, having not really received it from anyone. “I do hope it will be, I’d love that.”
"Yeah, I mean, there's nothing wrong with that - if anything I think it's fascinating. It just makes me want to listen to you." She confessed with a small smile. It was definitely interesting, but she got the feeling there was many more interesting things to learn about the male standing before her, and she couldn't wait to find out more about him. "I'm almost positive it won't, to be honest, I'm growing quite fond of you even though we've only been speaking for a little while, if you did steal something else I'd probably just let you. Let's not tell others that though, I wouldn't want to ruin my reputation." She teased once more, deciding to leave the wink this time after seeing him blush and avoid her gaze when she winked at him before. She beamed, unable to contain her grin at his reaction. "I'm only telling the truth. Yes, definitely. I can't imagine anything else coming close to it."
