Back from my hiatus and um drew those during my hiatus on my twitter.

Did like an “imagine” thing as based off my first impression on the series by judging from the title, but man I was so dead wrong.

I thought kill la kill is going to be another assassin slasher horror anime with the protagonist avenging for her dad by slaying students in blood baths and borrows power from her special uniform...

...instead, it’s an anime about clothing taking over the world and the dad’s death just spiraled the undermining doomsday operation to surface. Can’t be disappointed about it since it has changed my life and became a personal favourite for a personal reason.

Oh, about the design aspect, her school uniform was inspired by the sukebans, shoes by some fashion designer brands that I think she got hers inspired from and her gears were by 90s comic with those shoulder pads, mammoth riffle and arsenals and pouches, of course.

More about the design alone, I also attempted writing a fanfic but I kinda stopped halfway due to my real life commitments so apologies but if I finish, I will post the link to the fanfic.

Just gonna leave this here since I’m going to leave tumblr temporarily for my study hiatus.

Just finished rewatching klk for my annual rewatch.

I don’t know why I should make a wordy post just to pour my thoughts on this anime that I love dearly and closely that when I tried to distance it away from me, it just keep closing that distance. But still, this ending never fails to burn a hole on my heart.

I love how this scene (on the left) foreshadows the other scene (on the right) from the fight in space.

Like on the first, they are just talking to each other before the big storm happened (raid school trip arc) and glance at the moon and the stars.

While the second scene takes place after their fights with Ragyo in space, they were fallen from the skies like a shooting star.

Not related to the scenes, Ryuko's kanji , “流子”, and to connect to whatever I'm saying about the stars, it is another similar kanji, “流星”, means shooting star/ meteor. Just saying because I was looking through my gallery app and stumbled across those two scenes and my understanding of the kanji - which is similar to the chinese hanzi (they are both the same
