                 being asked to make the gates to camp jaha work                       at the push of a button so all guards could be ready              for an attack had seemed easy at first, but there was                    a part the ark didn’t have. a part she needed in order            to get this stupid assignment to work. the good news was                she knew where to find it. the bad news was that with this                      damn leg she wouldn’t be able to get there and back all              the while on the look out for grounders. or maybe she just                                  didn’t want to g o   a l o n e.

                she’d broken the radio && she felt bad about it,                      so despite the mountain of work she had to get               done, the young mechanic had set about f i x i n g                    it. she’d been angry, but the look monty had                          given her had been a little too sobering. as                   nimble fingers set the final wire in place, a grin                       crossed her features && she leapt up, straight                 to where her friend was sitting, barely able to                               hide her own excitement.

                        “ hey monty !                                   i’ve got a surprise for you. ”

She doesn’t know if it’s intentional  or not, but she’s had enough with the looks  people have been giving her today. She’s  already been punched once today – she  doesn’t need any more hostility.

                       the mechanic already had a list longer                              than her arm of things she needed to                          get done and bellamy had the cheek                                  to lengthen it. she was not the girl to                              come to today for a chat.

               an eyebrow raised, it wasn’t                    the kind of request raven got              everyday, && she was curious.
