Iron Man. That’s kind of catchy. It’s got a nice ring to it. I mean it’s not technically accurate. The suit’s a gold titanium alloy, but it’s kind of provocative, the imagery anyway.

Back to normal || open thread

It had been a while since Pepper had set foot in Stark Tower, and as soon as she caught sight of the building, she realized she'd missed it, if only a little. She was in good spirits as she caught the lift up to her office there, at least until she opened the door and stepped inside.

There was a huge stack of paperwork, one she should have expected to be there, yet was still surprised to see. Why hadn't they just forwarded everything to Malibu while she was there?

Pepper sighed and set down her things, the briefcase on the floor beside her desk, the large coffee by the paperwork. She then stepped around the desk to take a seat, turning on her computer. At least her email was the same, so she was up to date on that.

"Let's see what I missed in New York, hm?" she murmured to herself as she started skimming through the reports, The door to her office was open a crack in case anyone should pass by and want to chat.
